Coming to america...no no, not the movie
hey, i was about to buy a bodysolid power rack, olympic bar, 300 lbs of weight, and dumbellhandles/plate for 500 cndn used. After weeks of thinking about it, i feel like im getting ripped off, what do you think?
The main reason i wrote this thread was because im just going to end up buying the equipment from the states, i live in toronto, ontario. SO the closest place to me would be either niagara falls or buffalo. So where would you recommend to go buy new equipment. One last thing, is there anyway that ebay will ship to a location in niagara or buffalo and i can go pick it up?
What I need:
Power Rack
Bench...incline, decline, flat
olympic bar
olympic plates
high low pully machine ( with power rack or without doesnt matter)

Well, I think I can help you on this one, if you can pick it up in buffalo it would your best bet (wish I could do that). So heres a few options for you:
Buy your bench from Ironmaster (washington state) they will ship it to you to buffalo ups for a good price. (ironmaster super bench is probobly the best bench out there IMO, I'm buying one as well)
Now for the power rack, I recommend you either order the Powertec Power rack with the high and low pulley attachment (also has a dip station, multiple position chin up bar and arm curl station if memory serves me right)
Or you could go the other way and buy it from newyorkbarbells.com they have a power rack where you can buy an optional attachment wqhich serves as a cable crossover...(I do not remember if it has the low pulley but I'm assuming yes)
As for the olympic bar and weight kit, you can get that anywhere, you could buy it on ebay, craigslist, there everywhere, you could even find that easily in your own location (price might be steep) but its there...if you go with powertec check out their weight sets, if you go with NYBB check out their stuff....thats up to you...
I'm on the quest for my Ironmaster super bench and I live on the far east end of quebec (border or Newfoundland and Labrador) middle of nowhere really...wish I could just drive to the states....but that wont happen lol

The cheapest place to get the power rack (new) is most likely the powertec company (I think they have free shipping too)..and I'm not sure about the last one, but my guess is now, but shipping stuff from NYC to buffalo cant cost very much...

Well as you know, I do not live in Buffalo, lol....well I guess you could contact the company and ask them how they could arrange this with you...this is just an idea but the UPS truck must stop at some kind of UPS truckstop storage buiding, you could ask them to keep it there until you can pick it up...
