I just split up with my girl. But my BEST friend is hitting on her. WTF?

Ok. Here's the long story short.

Me and my ex (lets call her KATY) split up around 3/4 weeks ago because of distance problems and that I probably won't be able to see her even in the summer. But we did still speak every night on the phone and on MSN, so we were still close emotionally.

Then ater speakin to her for 2 weeks I wasn't able to speak to her for 2 weeks because of uni. She finished uni and celebratin (she lives far away from me) and I've just been fully loaded with uni work.

Last night at 3 in the morning when I was sleeping, I got a text from my best friend (of 7 years) saying "yo bro had fone sex KATY is dat ok!"

I woke up in the morning thinking it was a joke, so I sent back a text saying 'haha didnt think i'll read that in the mornin let me know how it goes!"

Then he text me at 10:30 in the morning sayin "Hey man, wat happened 2 day fcuk buddy sh*t?" (basically asking if me at KATY are still f buddies, which we are), so I text back saying yea, why?.

And then he text me saying this: "u an her still f buds right? bro man i was bein my horny self as usual sayin dirty **** lol she was laffin askin if i was high lol watch out she deffo guna tel ya abt it!', now I'm thinking WTF? Maybe it's true.

Now I finally spoke to her on MSN properly about what happened last night. And she said this, she said that he was tryin it on with her, and flirtin with her, and she was like 'Isn't YOUR best friend gonna be like wtf? what are you even sayin', and he kept on flirtin, so she went offline, she first thought he was jokin, then when she went off he actually started textin her saying this (she sent me the texts):

"hey hun soz abt b4 bt i ment wat i sed b4 ur sooo tasty i wud luv 2fuk u real hard lol x"

"yeh im a lil high 4rm nicotine rush babe i fink u yeh ur gorgeous cant stop finkin of u now am sorry adi (me) guna kik ma ass dnt care im guna kick ass 4 lettin u go sorry kate i fink ya so sexyy xxx"

and she stopped even replying, but he kept on textin her:

"mm wyd luv 2lick u out an make u real wet! x"

Now WTF!? My friend has a gf, and she is really hot, but why is tryin it on with my ex? I did not expect to here that from my friend. I split up with my ex 4 weeks ago, and I havnt seen her since then, but what's he playin at? He knows I still care for her.

What shall I do? My heads all around the place right now.

See. The main thing is that I'm more UPSET with WTF he did, get what I mean? It's just that I never knew HE would be saying it. Granted IF he said all that after 5/6 months after we split up then I would laugh about it cos I would have moved on, but its like only 3/4 weeks AFTER we split up.

And I have been training hard, it's just I never knew his face would be on the receiving end of my first. I don't even want to resort to fighting my best friend. Ah WTF!

You said he has a hot g/f, so I doubt he needs to try hit on your ex. Plus, why are you even listening to an ex g/f over your best friend?

Because my ex gf isn't the type to lie about something like this? And he basically owned up to that he actually said it. He told me he was horny at 3 in the morning when he was speaking to her and she was the only person online.

You know back when I was 16-23, I ended up on both sides of situations like this... And I'll tell you right now... This kind of behavior is unacceptable from anyone you would call a Close or Best friend.

At your age, there's a lot of bull**** excuses that make their way across boundaries as "Men" butt Heads with "Men."

Learning each other's limits, and boundaries of respect...

Have no doubt your friend is dis-respecting you... And if you don't deal with this assertively, you're sending a message both to him and other "Close Friends" around you..
