Thumbs up Nectar + Liquid Egg Whites

History with products:

I purchased liquid egg whites after seeing a video on bodybuilding.com (the one involving carrot top) a few months ago. The statement that got me interested was the following: "One 8oz cup of 100% Pure Liquid Egg Whites supplies 26 grams of 100% bioavailable pure protein" I drink 8-10 oz in the morning and then another 8-10oz postworkout or before bed. It took me two days to get used to the texture and now I can drink it like water. It is no thicker than milk. No noticable taste after the first few days.

I purchased syntrax nectar after receiving a free sample from the company. The taste was great and when mixed with water the protein shake is not thick. This for me makes it easy to drink right after an intense workout. Not much thicker than gatorade and not near as thick as ON whey.

Mixing the two:
One night after working out I decided to mix the two products. I placed 10oz of Liquid egg whites and one scoop of strawberry kiwi nectar into my shaker bottle. I stired the products with a long spoon for 20 seconds added a piece of ice and stired for another 20 seconds. Then drank the products.

Review:
This is the whole reason I posted this. The taste and texture of the products mixed together was awesome. The shake was thicker than either of the two separate but still much less thick than a normal protein shake. In fact the shake was extremely smooth due to the egg whites. I actually look forward to drinking the shake because of the taste and texture.

Each shake should give around 50 grams of protein.

Other protein products:

ON 100% whey: (I still drink two of these through out the day, normally on my two breaks at work.... helps me reach my 6-8 meals a day)

GNC 2200 gold: yuck

N' Large 2: good when severs where split into and even better when adding one scoop of the GNC 2200 (vanilla and choc mixed made the taste better)

I never would have thought of using egg whites and fruit flavored protein but the way you described it I might have to give it a chance.

I've done it a few times, usually mixed 1/2 water 1/2 egg whites. This morning I stirred liquid egg whites in a bowl with oat flour and protein and it was the perfect taste and consistancy of cookie dough. I used Cinnamon flavored protein, but I'd imagine it would work with Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies 'n Cream or Coffee flavors quite well. Maybe even Choc Mint, Banana or PB??
