This sandwich I've been eating for lunch??? Bad?

See Link
I've been getting this Half Turkey Sub on Whole Wheat bread about 2 times a week for lunch. Always thought it was good until I looked it up. Plus I add double meat so that makes the sodium really high doesn?t it? Doesn't taste salty at all though.

the sodium is high but that is the usual case with preserved lunch meat type foods. Other than that it looks ok.

And you are only having it like twice a week.

I guess it isn't that bad after all I just thought by adding double meat, that alone made the daily Value for sodium at 90%. How much sodium should one try to stay around a day???

well nutrition labels say 2400 mg but that is for the average individual. If you go over I would not worry too much aslong as you dont do it all the time. Ive done things such as eat cheap lunch meat and then the next day go low sodium.

Yeah I did a search on sodium, I figure as long as I stay active and drink a lot of water I should worry more about other things.

You'll be fine. The wheat bread probably isnt 100 whole wheat, but you'll be fine. That's healthier than most people's lunches and you arent doing much damage by having it twice per week.
