Coming back after a short break? Help

I was on rippetoes for several months. For various reasons I've had to slow down my gym time and i've lost some weight as well cause I wasn't able to keep my diet up. My question is coming back should I restart rippetoes or start on a new program? Which would be more beneficial. I should regain the weigh fairly quickly but I wasn't sure what to do. Thanks in advance guys.

Well i was just about to stop SS and go into something like HST or westside, but I wasn't sure yet. I had begun to peak out on most of my SS lifts and I wasn't gaining anything. I think after months of it my body was getting too comfortable with it. It should take long for me to work my way back up though, but i still need to transition into a new program after I regain what i lost. Any suggestions?

do Rippetoe's for a few monthes. Read the sticky for suggestions on what program to follow up with, you have plenty of time to make up your mind.
