Toyota/Lexus are more about making cars for people who don't feel the driving experience is important or don't care if the experience has to be enjoyable.

Audi on the other hand is the complete opposite. It has killer looks, a killer exhaust note, and provides a fun and spirited drive. That is what being a real enthusiast is about.

That is Funny, the NYT times said the new LS was as exciting to drive as a prius.

Go read any reputableauto journalist and Lexus's may have the numbers but it lacks excitement.

And where do you get the LS is the best luxury car on the market? Your an idiot, even if we only focus on the luxury cars in its class and not the classes above it, Car and Driver still put it in dead last place:

So how do you explain the fact that the IS350 has a quicker 0-60 time (4.9s) than an Audi S4.

Keeping in mind the S4 is a step above the A4 and has a V8 engine. I guess it speak volumes when your run of the mill model actually beats out the competitors performance model.

Where did I say Lexus doesn't have the numbers? I specifically said they did, I said they were boring and dull to drive. If you want driving exceitment you don't buy a lexus you buy a Infiniti, BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Even Cadillac.

And the IS250 is the IS base model, not the 350.

Obviously you can't read. I'm comparing regular models (lexus IS) to special market performance ones (audi S-line). In this case, the regular IS350 beats out its competitors special market performance model in 0-60. Not only that but the special market model (S4) has a V8 where the IS has only a V6.

This kinds throws cold water on your Lexus doesn't care about driving experience argument. Audi/VW has nothing on Lexus.

Look at the stats buddy. I named acceleration, but when you look at ALL things - power, cornering, fit and finish, reliability. The lexus edges out the Audi/VW. And this is pure IS to A4. Forget that the regular IS350 actually gives the S4 a run for the money!

The fact that the only argument you have is "what the auto journalists say" rather than looking at the numbers yourself, goes to show your complete utter stupidity. You put too much emphasis on adjectives rather than looking at the cold hard numbers.
