HIIT, warm up or not?

Do I need to warm up for HIIT sessions? or just start jogging and sprinting like crazy for my intervals?

Just wondering cuz I really wanna start HIIT next week. Altho Ill do it on the bike cuz I hate running.

I just use the first phase of jogging as my warm-up.
I may jog for 2-3 minutes before my first 20-30 second sprint, then switch to 45-60sec jog, 20-30 second sprint intervals.

Same here. Also, if you hate running on the treadmill you may want to try the eliptical machine. Cycling is ok but I've found that the eliptical machines burn more cals and is actually less boring than cycling.

Definitely warm up.

Do a light jog for a few minutes followed by some stretching, then do your interval sprints, followed by a cool down jog and some more stretching.
