ABB Whey Force-Wow strong yummy
If you followed the tester thread for the ABB Whey Force, youll see that Ive been pretty ansy about getting my tester package, so thankfully, heres my review:
ABB Whey Force

The cans are unmarked prototypes, which I am cool with. Although, it made it impossible to tell the flavor. Anyway, I drank one after cardio today. Ive been waiting for so long and these definitely deliver.
Mine are chocolate. When I drank it, I had the usual feeling that I wouldnt enjoy it because I usually dislike chocolate protein. But, it was fantastic. Light, pleasant, and clean. No after taste (except for a pumpkin taste i got later ). Based on the ingredients, I would say its pretty good, seeing as how Whey Hydrolysate is the majority of the protein. No Whey Hydro taste at all, very nice.
The ingredients BTW:
So, based on the (to me) ideal ingredient profile, taste, convenience, I would give these a perfect 10/10.
Even at this price, I think I will still make them a staple. The price going down would only make that sweeter!
I will review the extra goodies ON and ABB included later.
Thank you so much ON and ABB!

babolat06,
10 out of 10?
Sounds like you liked the Whey Force!
I'm not quite sure where the pumpkin flavor came from? You are the first to mention it but we will definitely keep it in mind - especially if others notice it.
In respect to pricing I think we are all hoping whey pricing turns around in the near future!
Thanks for your feedback.
Jay

That's a pretty nice profile. Hydro whey is pretty bitter, in my experience - I'm a bit surprised ON was able to cover it up (Xtreme Formulation's Relentless is a whey hydro, and even given their flavoring, it's not completely covered). That's pretty impressive.

Did you let anyone here know that your package was returned so we can send you a replacement?

It looks good, but I looked it up to be around $41.95 for 12??? That's just a little too insane for me for a simple protein shake. Maybe discount places will sell it for half that....hopefully.

Yeah Ive had hydro, in things like anator. Aweful taste...but this tastes BETTER than normal chocolate canned shakes. Whey Force is light and smooth but others ive had are kind of chalky and thick.

Wow - sounds like perhaps someone is trying to make up for these crazy high gas prices!
On a positive note (unlike our gas prices), PaintPir is right that the SRP is $23.88 for a case of 12 which comes out to $1.99 a can.
Another way to look at that - right now you can get 2 cans of Whey Force here in the Chicago area for less than a single gallon of gas.
