There is nothing revolutionary about the product - it is whey protein. You can easily find 70+ servings of whey on the BB.com superstore for $30-35.

Sure does. I noted a marked brightening of my urine from the Riboflavin.
Seriously now... it's protein powder and not magic pixie dust. That said, I do prefer the taste over most other powders.

Yea I know its been around for a while I remember buying my first bb magazine in 1997 musclemag celebrating Arnold's 50th birthday and it was edvertised inside. It tastes good I have been using it now for a couple days....I was just curious as to see if it is effective....guess we will see

Sure it's effective. As effective as any Whey protein
Just keep in mind, protein is essential, but if you think you are going to get some incredible effect like you might get from ephedra or roids, that isn't going to happen ....I'm sure you know that though

Alright, I'll post my two cents. I love Designer Whey. It's just one of those products I fell in love with the first time I used it. The #1 reason I love it, is it just mixes like magic. It dissolves just really quickly, I don't have to use a blender, I just add a couple scoops to 16oz of milk, give a couple shakes and it's done. No clumpy nasty crap, it might as well be Nestle Quik that I'm drinking.
And you know what, the best gains I've ever made were while I was using this powder.
Ok, I haven't tried every powder out there, and there's a point where I won't pay $50 a tub for a supplement, so I think for my money (Currently getting 5lbs @ $25-30) this is the best I've used. I especially like the strawberry flavor.

I bought one time Nitrotech from muscletech I think I paid like $50 for it the taste was horrible, but that is not so much important to me as it to be effective I know they're not going to have a profound effect like steroids BUT for me....nitrotech was not effective and did not work like a protein powder should...plus is tasted horrible.
If it works good and helps me acquire my daily protein I don't care for the taste thats not so much important. But like I said there is all these fancy overpriced protein powders out there and some don't work.
We will see if I feel or notice a difference in my gains while on Designer whey...

I think you will be happy with DW.
However, saying NitroTech didn't "work" doesn't make any sense.
It is protein. If it didn't work for you the problem didn't lie with the product IMO.
Not trying to be difficult here....

I don't know because I taken protein made by Rich Gaspari and did not have a problem feeling it Gaspari tasted good and mixed well also plus I felt it. I'm just exploring to see if maybe I can find a cheaper alternative that I can rotate it with thats why I started taking designer whey....I took nitrotech before i took gaspari and never felt any effect to it I usually give each powder at least 60 days to have a fair comparison.

It's pretty good - nice flavor. One of the only proteins I have found that REALLY mixes with a spoon (that is, to an acceptable level). Tends to foam in a shaker. I'd point you to my review of it, but searching is disabled.
Bottom line: decent protein, tastes good and mixes well with a spoon. The one aspect it really holds over the others is the mixability - other than that, it wasn't anything really unique (and, it is relatively expensive).

Agree on the mixability. When the product first came out, the market was full of clumpy protein mixes that were a pain in the @ss. Quick history lesson for anyone under 25yrs old
