Critique my cutting diet please!
Hi guys
Looking for a bit of advice on my diet. I'm currently 150lbs (small guy though - 5'6) and looking to cut for a couple of months for summer.
I have a decent 3 day split that I'm happy with and currently do 3 x 30 minutes HIIT per week so I think that's all in check.
Where I put "veg" in my diet it consists of 1 in about 20 different vegetables (with a few fruits) that I eat regularly so I think I'm pretty balanced there too!
Meal 1: whole oat porridge (with a few raisins in) + 1/2 glass of orange juice + 30g protein shake [400 calories]
Meal 2: meat + 2 veg (usually something like a low fat burger + cottage cheese, or an omlette with prawns in or tuna in a tomato sauce) [400 calories]
Meal 3: 30g protein shake + banana [200 calories]
Meal 4: meat + carbs + 2/3 veg (always good clean protein like chicken, pork, salmon/tuna steak, fillet steak) [500 calories]
Meal 5: 30g protein shake + flax seed [250 calories]
Total: 1750 calories
Any comments/suggestions?
