Happy with my current size at my goal. Keep going? Or done with BB for now.
Was just thinking to myself today I'm at what was my goal since I started lifting, (About 14 months ago.) and am really happy with my current size, and even not lifting hard for the last 2 months because of baseball have been maintaining pretty easy.
So any way I'm thinking about stopping BB for now as I got the physique I wanted and baseball is the reason why i started in the first place and I don't need to be any bigger for baseball, it's just a matter of honing my skills form now on.
What do you guys think?
Stop BB for now and just maintain maybe continue in a few years when I'm finished with baseball. (Maybe not depending how far I go.)
Or Keep lifting to get bigger in the the off season and try and go some were with BB.
Also with baseball, I am throwing 91 mph right now as a senior in HS, I run a 6.8 60, for the year so far I'm 27 for 34 with 7 hrs. As a catcher I have a 1.9 pop time, and as the closing pitcher so far this year I have a 0 ERA. I am planing to go to a junior collage and get drafted from their after 1-2 years. Or if I don't get drafted (Unlikely) transfer to a four year school.
With BB, (Which I first started because of baseball.) I think I have pretty decent genetics and gained a lot of muscle pretty easily. In about 14 months of lifting I went from 6'3 185 to 6'4 240 pretty cut. (All thought I hit puberty pretty late so that prob helped some.) I think my natural limit would prob be about 270 lean. So any way to compete and do well (since I'm pretty tall at 6'4.) I'd have to get to say 310 or more cut. Which would require pretty much a full time commitment. And I would probably not be able to go as far in baseball.
Serious answers please..
I'm at this point leaning towards baseball, although I do really enjoy lifting.
Also pics so you have a idea were I am at BB wise.

If you wanna play baseball that bad, than just maintain your body. Its really your opinion and another persons thoughts should have no effect on yours.
But imo just maintain if your not gonna try to push further on in bodybuilding.

To a point, but once you go paste that point in baseball you'll just lose speed and flexibility.

dude that is pretty inspirational...it has been my dream of playin pro football, its a dream and i will try my hardest to get there and if it dont happen i can atleast say i tried. But i would just maintain. Too much more muscle will start hurting your throwing arm (rotating cuff) and just keep your stats in baseball which seem excellent for a high schooler by the way. I would maybe think about goin to a Jr. college and getting a 4yr degree in Business or sports management so you always have that to rely on and you will be able to get yourself the best contract out there. No if your throwing a 100mph fastball after 2ys in Jr. college than by all means go to the draft, keep me update through the years on how it goes. leave me comment on bodyspace or something. Good luck

Ya I agree that's pretty much how I saw it thanks for your input though.
And ya I'm going to be taking sports management, I also have a NASM personal trainer cert and A+ N+ and S+ computer certs to fall back on.
Edit: And good luck with football man. If I could do it all over I would have played football instead.

Nice body bro. About the same physique imma be gunning for. Just maintain untill you feel the need to get bigger. Or you can change your lifting habbits to focus on more strength than adding mass.

I'll tell you this, you have a pretty nice body (no homo). If you do quit the bodybuilding scene, you at least have to still exercise on a regular basis, don't want to loose what you got you know.

If you are happy with the way you look and have a chance to get a full ride with baseball or even more with it, maintain and focus on ways to improve your ball game. Its not like you are gonna get outta shape or anything if you train year round, and if it comes down to you not obtaining your baseball goals, you'd probabaly know by the time you were 22-23, and that is in no way too late to start bodybuilding on a full time basis.

Advice to kvkx111
You should quit playing baseball. You should be bodybuilder not baseball player. You should gain muscle mass. Because you are 100% German.
Your goal (until 19):
weight goal: 300lbs
bodyfat goal: 5%
Asians, Hispanics, native Americans and southern Europeans are better for playing baseball than German guys. Recently, most of baseball players are Asians, Hispanics, native Americans and southern Europeans.

Aite big guy...
Ever thought of becoming a strength athlete?
Maybe look into Oly lifting? Go CNS intensive and eat the correct diet so you dont gain weight, but get stronger.
Not pure powerlifting... more an athelte program, so Oly lifting, alot of sets with lower reps.
You can be too big, but you can never be too strong can you?

I'm not stopping I'm still going to lift to maintain. And yes the pros have you lift but the program they put you o most of the time is pretty much a joke. All the guys in the pros who are jacked have their own program.

No I did not think of that, I'll look into thanks man. Although I still would be only able to do that in the off season because I can't really do heavy deads or squats the same day as a game. But it would still be better then just maintaining.

You look great the way you look like now. I don't think you should stop lifting. Maybe check for a training which can help you through baseball without stopping lifting.
Impressive arms, by the way.

If i could get to your size within 14months of training i'd be piss pleased. I say why not try some more power lifting rather hen bodybuilding, like a 5X5 or something? You can carry of playing baseball whilst building strength. Just a thought.
Whatever you choose to do good luck.

Damn man, looking good. I was wondering if your time in the 60 is hand-timed or automatically timed? Running a time like that while weighing in at 240lbs is impressive on all levels. Professional sprinters these days are running on average 6.50-6.60 secs and they would weigh about 44 to 66 lbs lighter than you.

Sorry about that. I was just really curious about his time. Reason being, I'm a serious Track runner and I want to get bigger to about 230lbs but I'm not sure if its a good idea because it could seriously hinder my performance on the track so I was wondering if his time is legit as it will inspire me to take up bb'ing secondary to track.

Well my dad has this theory which is really true if you think about it, basically alot of people basically overkill in the gym with their fitness or lifting. Some people train way too much and end up being TOO fit or TOO big for everyday life.
Take this guy in the gym he's amazingly fit but he runs like 6km for cardio at almost marathon speed, imagine his joints in the future or lack of.
As for being huge why would you want to be like a monster, no matter what you do when you age unless you keep working out at the same intensity (which when you turn older gets more and more impossible) your muscles are going to sag a bit so...why?
It's too excessive.
For you I think you have a seriously impressive physique and if you want to stop, then stop, you'll feel more energetic anyway simply maintaining and not busting a nut for more gains.
