That's the problem with tattoos: some people don't know when to stop. And if you're going to compete in bodybuilding it can be detrimental.

Could be wrong but the tats on his legs look more like something you would find in the pacific islands. They often tatoo themselves completely from the naval to the knees, for cultural reasons.. Maori's traditionally tattood the face.
The design isn't even familiar to me as a Maori design, Maori designs generally involved curls, and not many straight lines, which were representative of the New Zealand native scenery.. The Pacific Islanders (specifically samoan/tongan) used patterns similar to the ones on his legs.
