Flab when you sit
Is that possible to get rid of? My stomach looks very toned when I stand up, but for some reason, sitting down ( like I am right now), it looks flabby. Do guy's with " rock solid sixpacks " still have this problem?

Yeah, and this sucks when I go to a beach and sit on a chair, or on the sand. Usually, when I'm with chicks atleast, or I seen one I find cute, I sit up straight, lol, so my stomach won't crunch.

I have the same problem. Just lean back or make sure you are sitting straight up if there's a girl or something.

i think i read somewhere you have to be extremely low (not sure the exact number i think less than 5%, maybe around 3%) to not have noticeable fat when you sit down or hunch over

I feel you, and no, I don't think it's homo at all. It's a perfectly legit thread, imo.

Even Billy Blank the guy from Tae Bo has some fat when he sits. It's inevitable. If you have fat on your body, it'll be there when you sit. If you don't like it, stand up.

Guys...if you're lean enough (about 8-9% and under) that's not fat rolling up...it's just your skin folding up because it can't stay stretched out...

i know the difference, and I was at 6.5% and still had some flab....everything else was toned and nice, and when I stood up it looked good, but when I sat it rolled up a lil bit with fat.... it sucks for me....

it's human anatomy, you gotta deal with it. Just be happy you even have the "problem" because many people have the problem EVEN when they're standing...
and yes, the best bet is to sit up straight and with correct posture (duh) as often as possible.
cheers to being picky!

I hear ya
I am around 12-13 percent BF, and when i sit down and i look down, i feel like i havent been cutting at all. The flab on the stomach seems more psychological than anything.
I am glad this thread is here, otherwise i would have thought I was not cutting enough.
