Gotta cheat. What to eat?
I am on the stairmaster right now at the gym. I am heading to my friends place after this. They will be drinkin and i will be chillin. Wendy's is open. Mcdonalds is too. I have a protein shake. I left my peanut butter sandwich at home. I was told ice cream has low gi carbs. Should i get 2 frostie? I know half of yall are going to say fast food is bad but it is better to have something after a work out than nothing

Why don't you actually read your signature for just a moment and pass this drinking fest for a good workout followed by good nutrition?

Hey pal. Even the biggest body builders will go grab a big mac. I haven't had fast food in like 5 months even before body building. And if you actually read what i said i was gonna chill and not drink. You just have to get your macros in to body build. Eating healthy was my choice. And having a kids size burger wont even do minor damage to what i have done over the months

I only cheat when i bulk (ie fast food like bk, jack and what not)
I love
the Triple Whopper at BK
the Ultimate Cheese Burger at Jack
the Polish Dogs at Costco
+
Round Table Pizza!
If it has a decent amount of meat in it, ill eat it during a bulk.

you can cut and have a hamburger to fill in what is needed. even you should know that. you actually dont even need to eat healthy to cut but it helps.

look. i could eat a small cheeseburger from mcdonalds as my carb source. and i would be fine. just for one meal. i could go there everyday. my physical health could deplete but my physique would still remain the same.
that is just if i fit it into my diet.
you can fit anything into your diet. as long as you have moderation control in the day.
the ones you have to avoid are candy bars though. cause of the insulin spike.
yesterday wendy's was closed. so i went to the gas station and go ice cream. a ice cream sandwich contains
240 calories.
34g carbs
10g of fat
4g of protein.
and 22g of sugar.
its a very good light treat to have. i had that with a protein shake. and a slice of pizza.

It is what it is, enjoy it, and don't overanalyze a cheat meal.

ok. do you want me to pull out a chart for you about what it contains...
cause it will show all rest of the calories to fill out the day, the carbs, protein, and fat.
cause it fit into my diet. i still got my 2600 calories.
250g of protein
200g of carbs

no no no. you started this discussion over saying its not good even on a cut.
please explain the difference of me getting carbs from bread.
and getting carbs from a slow digesting product like a ice cream sandwich.
the sugar was too low for a real insulin spike. calories fit in
the 1 slice of pizza fit in too.
and i got the protein shake.
so other than it being junk food. tell me how it will affect me in my diet if i didnt go over.

Everyone can cheat man. Just don't binge eat and you'll be fine. I have read that wendys is a great place to cheat at. There chilly and frosties are some of the "healthiest" fast foods. In all honesty the chili is not bad at all.

Unless you are 4 weeks out from your local NPC competition...having a cheat meal is beneficial to fat loss. It'll satisfy you and keep your thyroid working. The key is to just have a cheat meal...not a cheat binge. Don't just eat mad food...if your gonna have a burger and a frosty then have just that...no more. After that its back to the old diet.
