Forget the powder, try the sprays... they ALWAYS work and the ants never come back - the room will just smell like a toxic pool, that's all. Do it when you're not planning to be in the room for awhile and leave all the windows open.

That anteaters make great pets and would get rid of your ant problem?

Pour gasoline all over the place, light it on fire.
Have water handy. It works, I'm serious, unless in your house dont do it. Outside do it, if neighbors ask, tell them to STFU and GTFO.

Sounds good, ill use the sugar water to lure the ants in, then light the house on fire to get rid of them.
Thanks, Misc.

you have to dress as an ant and gain there trust. after a few months, assasinate the queen.
then you will rule the ants.

we get ants in our house sometimes in the winter or if it gets cold. They might not even be looking for food, just a place that's warmer than outsdide.

Put little pinches of a sugar/borax mix in their line so they will find it, the Borax is deadly and tasteless and they will take it back to the nest and feed it to everyone.
