Yeh, here comes the rhubarb.
Yes, it's officially spring time and the rhubarb is in season. I'm already stuffing my face.
Rhubarb is officially a vegetable, but can be used as a fruit, so it makes a great base for a lot of keto-friendly sweet dishes.
Try strewed rhubarb, rhubarb crumble (baked rhubarb with hazelnut topping), rhubarb and cinnamon jelly, rhubarb and ginger ice-cream. You can also use it as a savory ingredient in stews and sauces.
Its macros are almost identical to celery.

Good luck with that (he typed wincingly). I'm more about asparagus, ramps, fiddle-heads and other Springy-stuff.

You gotta love the diversity of foods eaten on BB.com. It's amazing how popular foods change from country to country and even state to state.
Personally, I still have no clue where to buy steak-um in Southern Cali but they look great and they also seem like they could be microwaved at work.
Rhunbard is a great stew food and you can eat tons and tons of it with almost zero calorie intake.

Apparently it's the meat they use in Philly Cheesesteak, which I have never had either. When I looked it up online it looked microwavable. http://www.steakumm.com/

Compressed beef that has paper between the very thin slices - cooks quickly so you don't need to thaw. It has a great flavor, and we make a traditional "philly-cheesesteak sangwich with onions" out of them. If you took a beef ribsteak up-end and sliced it very thin you would have the approximate idea.
Find 'um in the freezer section. One of the large food-clubs should have them or a substitute.

You can certainly buy beef cut to the same thickness as bacon here. It cooks in about 20 seconds. Is it like that?

Yes, or Teriyaki-beef thickness. Don't know how well this goes with rhubarb tho.

I love rhubarb! We used to have it growing in my backyard when I lived in Michigan. Weird, I know lol. We would make a sweet sauce out of it and eat it on ice cream :-) Do you have recipes you use?

I tend to just chop it up and stew it with a little water and ginger and/or cinnamon and a little bit of sweetener. Then I add it to suger-free jelly or ice-cream or just eat it on its own.
