Watchfans 8 week Evo stack Review
Well heres my review of the **** Evolution stack for 8 weeks. I didn't have the $$ to buy two bottles of everything, but I did stack all three. The way I ran it was:
Wk 1-2: JW
Wk 3-4: JW + BAM
Wk 5-6: JW + BAM + Restore
Wk: 7-8: JW + Restore
So basically I did two bottles of Jungle Warfare, and 1 bottle of Bad Ass Mass, and Restore.
And since I didn't really have the time to commit to a daily log, I sort of broke it down into a week by week synopsis. I pretty much just jotted stuff down as I experienced them throughout the week. So hopefully this will give people an idea of what to expect as the weeks progress. So without further ado..
Week 1: Really nothing noticeable yet. I figure this stuff just needs time to get in your system. I will say that at times I did see a increase in overall better mood/good feeling. Prior to this week I was coming out of a slight cold, so my lifts for the week were average. Only major standout was that I deadlifted 255, and didn't feel phased by it at all. I can tell that maybe in a few weeks strength will definately shoot up.
Week 2: If anything, I do notice, along with the general feel of well being, slightly more aggressive behavior. Granted I'm definately a pretty mellow person, but I do feel a sort of, I'm not going to take any **** mentality at times. This is a good thing in my opinion. I do notice maybe just a little acne here and there, but nothing major. I haven't noticed any lethargy as some have stated in their logs, so thats cool. I haven't noticed a dramatic strength increase as of yet, but I feel really good when lifting. If anything I feel mentally stronger. I am excited about next week though, as most have said that JW really starts kicking in about that week. I'm also changing up my split for the rest of the stack cycle. I have been doing a 5 day split, with a day devoted to each major body part, but I've been doing that for awhile, so I want to change it up. I figure its early enough on the stack that its not to big of a deal. I'm changing it up to a 5x5. We'll see how that goes.
WeeK 3: Well, I don't know what to say for this week. Since altering my program a little, my lifts have gone up. Granted, I am working in a much smaller rep range, so it seems a lot easier for me to add weight and lower the rep range and work more on short bursts of energy. I haven't really noticed any more sides really. No lethargy , no increased acne. Overall attitude/well being seems normal. I checked my weight today and I have gone up about 2lbs or so, which is good, since starting the stack. My diet is good, I have been making sure I'm getting my protein and carbs. I will say I'm eating a little 'looser' than if I were cutting, but this isn't a full on bulk either so..
Week 4: Alright, since adding BAM last week and taking it this week, I haven't noticed anything, at least from a 'feeling' standpoint. Granted, I only take it in the morning and evening, but even then I don't get any sort of 'physical' feedback from it. I will say though, along with JW, my strength keeps going up, so at least thats the good news. I also gained a pound this week! Thats about 3-4 lbs so far give or take since I've started the stack. But again, even with JW I don't get the same feelings I did when I started it. Either that, or I'm just used to it now and don't noticed it. I have had just and little bit of acne increase this week, but barely noticeable. Regardless, as long as I keep gaining, I'm happy and don't really mind not 'feeling' the stack.
Week 5: Well this week I added Restore to the JW, BAM combo. And like the previous weeks with just the BAM and JW, I don't really feel anything from the addition of Restore. However, I did gain a half pound, so thats great. My strength continues to increase. I got my bench up to 200lbs and my dead up to 260! Squat is up to 255! Now whether this is attributed to the stack, or just me thinking it is, I like it. And like I said last week, as long as my numbers go up, I'm happy. Diet has been good, and with the weight I've gained, I feel it is mostly muscle, cause if anything its been a slow weight gain, nothing quick or crazy like if I were dirty bulking. So thats it to report for this week. Till then.
Week 6: Honestly, nothing really exciting to add. I've been keeping my diet the same, training the same. I've gained a few pounds, which is great, and for the most part my numbers are still going up on my lifts. I think my body has adjusted well enough to the stack to where I don't really feel anything anymore, as far as effects go.
Week 7: Pretty much same as last week. Got my dead-lift up to 280! Can't wait to hit the big 3! I had to drop my bench down a little as I couldn't hit my best at 205 for reps consistently, so I dropped a little and I'm going to work my way back up. No sides, no nothing. Pants are a little snugger which kinda sucks, I may have put on a little fat, but its to be expected. I do feel most of my gains are LBM though. Can't wait till the end of next week, so I can start my cut for summer.
Week 8: Well finally, my last week. Nothing really major to report. I actually upped my cardio this week, from what I was doing in the previous weeks, ate the same, and actually lost 1.5lbs. Not worried about it being muscle though, since protein intake and everything else was high. If anything, it makes me wonder what the Evo stack would be like during a cut. Probably would work great.
Conclusion: I can pretty much say, that I was very pleased with the gains I received while on the Evo stack. Strength went way up, overall mood was pretty good while on the stack, I have virtually no sides. Little acne here and there, no headaches. Every now and then I would experience some lethargy, but nothing too bad.
All in all I put on a good 10lbs, most of which I believe to be LBM. My diet was pretty on point, but I did eat 'looser' on occasion, but nothing crazy. To be honest though, I can't say if I would do the stack again. Mostly because of all the mATD talk and what not, and **** not really providing any answers or information. Its unfortunate too, cause for all intents and purposes its a good stack. I think XF and Activate or E-bol will be next maybe in the late fall.
