It all depends upon what part of my back I want to focus on most.
Middle Back-Wider Grip
Lats(more so than wide grip)-Shoulder Width, or a little closer
Currently a little past shoulder width.

I usually go shoulder width because I just can't grip heavy enough without an underhand grip.

Whatever helps you feel it the best. For me, this is a decently wide grip.

Sorry this sounds like a silly question, but what are the primary muscles worked in that muscle...where do you feel the burn? I've been doing them for some time now with little improvement, I just feel my biceps working!

My grip is pretty much like everyone else's, a little wider than shoulder width. But sometimes i'll do shoulder width to mix it up a little.

I vary my grips...first few sets are shoulder width and the last two are close grip so it hits in my inside lats very nicely.
