Anybody else hate holidays?
Holidays used to mean something when you're a kid......days off from school, gifts, candy, etc.
But I've realized that since I became an adult, I really can't stand them anymore.
You only get like 1 day off, and you don't even get to spend it doing something you like. Rather, you have to go visit your extended family. Some people may enjoy this, but I don't. My family is not very close-knit, and so my cousins and such are pretty much just acquaintances that I see a few times per year.
Plus, I hate how I have to be on my "best behavior" around my grandparents. And it's always the same barrage of questions from my relatives.......how's work? Do you like your job? Blah blah.....
Maybe I'm turning into a grinch or something, but I'd rather spend Easter sunday sitting on my couch playing videogames than going to my grandparents' house and sitting there with a stupid smile on my face for 6 hours.

Why do you have to go for 6 hours? No one is forcing you to stay. Also, to make things more fun bring a 24 with you and drink with one of your cousins or all of em.

they see you like once a year and ask you all the standard BS hows college, whats your major, got a girlfriend???
what you really feel like saying is fu<k off.
but you gotta smile and say yeah blah blah blah.
i know some people actualyl have close families. but at least with me its like 1-2 times year thing where everyone is a phony and puts on a fake smile.

I know......I went there the day BEFORE Christmas Eve, and they closed at 12:00.

my gym is NEVER ever closed, it's awesome and all my relatives live in armenia, so during the holidays, I just sit around and play videogames/listen to music
