hello brothers, just want to ask your opinion about this idea posted by a member in another forum.

Reality Check guys!

Thres no such thing as a chemist who makes steroids. steroids are hormones! they are not like cocktail drinks that you mix with sprite and some syrup. Steroids are manufactured by Companies with state-of -the art equipments. Berlieve me guys, There is no local chemist that can make steroids. How do you think Organon, Zuelig, Britsh Dispensary (Philippine Chapter) cannot make steroids here? What they do is import, repack and dispense. That's all. If you are informed that the drug being sold to you is made by a local Chemist, that is 100% hogwash! Please believe me guys. I come from a family of doctors.

Who makes steroids then? Chemists? Hell no! Only Board- certified fellow-status Endocrinologists with PHd's in Biochemistry Physicians can.

There is not a single individual in the Philippines who is even qualified to experiment with the chemical composition of a steroid.

Chemists don't do hormones. Endocrinologists do.

while this is prolly true, i think most sources just take bulk powders and convert them into injectables/tablets

I'm a few weeks away from getting a degree in chemical/bioprocess engineering, and while I've never studied hormone manufacturing in specific, I've had to learn a lot about drug manufacturing in general. Usually, the doctors only come in during the clinical trials when the drugs being administered to humans. The actual making of drugs is done mostly by engineers and chemists, with technicians and operators running the machinery, and not done by physicians.

It sounds to me like that guy is talking out of his ass.
