Quick glance at diet.. just some questions o

Question: Just wanting to know if my eating style right now is fine, and wheather or not I should change a few things in order to stay safe or make better of the situation!

Started October 27th, (or so thats when I started running)

Got a little more serious with eating habits around 2nd week of November.

Oct 27/2003 I started at 282lbs, 6'1
Jan 15/2004 Currently 256lbs

Total Loss: 26 lbs..

I do moderate lifting 1-3 days a week, nothing to critical just some general workouts to keep the strength up (so far have los tnone & even went up in a few areas)

I run on a Eliptical machine/stair climber(efx) OR a plain old elipitcal machine i typically go for 28-34 minutes, at very intense and hard setting, it states that I burn 395-450 calories a workout(im sure its not to accurate) and my heart rate is normally averaged about 150-165 the whole time...

Currently

Breakfast
1) Special K( no berry stuff) w/skim milk
OR
1) 4 Egg whites, with 1 egg yolk & a slice of low-fat cheese

& 2-3x a week a cup of coffee with s/milk & sugar

Lunch
1) Either a Wheat or Rye bread, with turkey & ham with ONE slice of low-fat cheese & with mustard
OR
1) A low-fat mostly healthy choice(or any other brand frozen dinner) only about 1-2x a week

Snack
Either a can of tuna with some horse raddish,
OR
A protein shake after the gym, 37g of protein

Dinner
5-6 nights a week .75lbs of chicken with marinade and a fresh salad with no-fat dressing either ranch of intalian, with nothing else on it.

About 1 night a week I make a bottom round steak dinner, with marinade and some vegtables.

RARELY I do eat out if I go out with friends, but i stay away from fries, its been over 5 months from fast food. NEVER drink soda,

SO FAR i lost 26lbs, I NEVER feel hungry, I never get tired

I go to school fulltime at a univ, and i work 32-35hrs a week. And I never feel tired and its been a really nice life style change.

I was just asking if there is anything that looks outta place for my eating habits, that maybe I should add or take out that could slightly effect how im doing. Or should I just keep going with what works?

Life style change NOT a diet..

looks like my stats/diet about a year ago. it will work for a bit more but that's going to have to change sooner or later depending on your goals.

you're going to have to pull all the high glycemic ingredients. If you want a head start, you gotta replace your special K and milk with some oats. Replace your sugar with splenda or stevia. Replace your bread with 100% whole wheat, stone ground bread. keep a close eye on the no-fat dressing and marinades. don't take in too much sugar (that's what they are). I would go with an olive oil/balsamic vinegar for the salad.

You may introduce yams, sweet potatoes, and cottage cheese into your diet if you would like some other nutritious carb and protein sources (respectively).

I haven't really seen anyone hit a huge wall until they get near the mid 20's (bodyfat percentage)- and that's an endomorph.. so you might be able to keep this up for a while but plan on a change sooner or later (then again, ectos never have to change and they all think that they're dietary geniuses).

I right now am eating 100% whole weat, i went to rye just for the week cause I was getting tired of the wheat bread after 3 months!

I do have kaish cereal and i picked up some oatmeal from the store for breakfast, I try to go with the eggs mostly.

What other options do i have for coffee sugar? I have very bad reactions with sweet&low or any other sacrine or neurmaticis products (sorta liek what happens to lactose intolerant just 20x worse)

The marinade I use has little to no sugar in it, its mostly herb and sauces. And yeah Im gonna look around for better dressing..

thanks for the ideas..
