What sandwich breads do you guys buy?
I've been getting this whole wheat high fiber healthy bread, but it doesn't hold up with my sandwiches. Making a turkey sandwich with it is impossible: it just loses its form. Truly tragic.
Are there any brands of breads that could actually hold together when making a sandwich & are healthy?
thanks!

Natures own 100% whole wheat bread. When buying wheat bread the first ingredient should always say "stoneground wheat"

have you tried sprouted grain breads? some brands are food for life (ezekiel), healty way, and silver hills. they have no flour and are better for you than regular bread and hold up really well even in hot sandwiches.

I like Orowheat Whole Wheat or Whole Grain type breads. They provide a great amount of fiber, carbs, and are low on everything else. Like someone already said, as long as the first indredient isn't something like "enriched ..." then you are fine.

I use ezekiel cinnamon raisin bread for my peanutbutter sandwiches, and it's so good. Jay Cutler also uses ezekiel bread.

I like Country Hearth Light (low cal, high fiber) and Ezekial breads (much higher cal, but higher protein and high fiber) I love the Ezekial raisin bread with a smidge of natural peanut butter... But the regular stuff is great for a regular sammich
