I can cut when I die! Torrent + AP bulk journal
Hey guys, this is my first journal I hope you enjoy it!
I've just come off of a lengthy period of semi-stagnation and I'm ready to see gains again!
I've been lifting since I was 15. I'm 20 now. I found bodybuilding.com about a year and a half ago, and that's when I really got serious. I put on roughly 30 pounds my Freshman year of college, added some really impressive gains to my lifts. That stopped however this year, all my lifts and my size has been pretty stagnant. I've improved a little but not nearly as much as I'd like to, so, this journal is all about kicking in the high gains again!
My stats:
I'm a hardcore ecto. I'm full blooded Chinese so I have the incredible asian metabolism. I pretty much stuff myself until I want to throw up during every meal.
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 188 as of this morning
BF %: Eh roughly 11-13%. I can see all my abs. I can either look soft or shredded depending on the light. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about.
Previous supplements:
Just whey protein and creatine monohydrate
What I'll be using now: 2 Anabolic Pumps a day(One at lunch, one at dinner, I don't eat enough carbs with any other meals to justify taking another. I'm a college student living in dorms, so meals arent always ideal)
Animal Pump pre-workout.
A serving of torrent after each workout.
Optimum double chocolate protein everyday to supplement my protein intake.
4-5g of Creatine Monohydrate on days I don't take torrent.
Diet:
Breakfast: Usually whatever the dining hall is serving. A lot of eggs, potatoes, etc. Not terribly healthy but not too bad. If I'm running late I'll just drink a protein shake.
Lunch: Usually 3-4 grilled chickens with a plate or two of pasta. My dining hall always has a grill line and a pasta line which is wonderful.
Dinner: Again grilled chickens and pasta usually.
I snack on peanuts and banana's/apples that I sneak out of the dining hall at night. Sometimes I'll get a grilled chicken sandwich by the slow-bus kids who work there.
Workout:
Will be full body 3 days a week. I'm going to incorporate a 20-30 min HIT cardio session immedietly after each workout, if I feel up to it. If my legs are feeling tired or I'm feeling drained I'll definetly skip the HIIT session.
Day one is tomorrow! I'll keep you guys posted, I'll try to update everyday. Pray that I don't get the Anabolic dumps!

Today I took the anabolic pump.... and I definetly have anabolic dump. Havent noticed any real effects yet.
I'm waiting for my torrent and animal pump to arrive, they should be here tomorrow, woo!
Had a protein shake for breakfast.
Lunch was a tortilla wrap with roast beef, a brat w/bun, and a bowl of pasta.
Dinner I had two 8oz porkchops with a baked potatoe and sweet potatoe. Not my ideal meal, we went out to Lone Star for a friend's birthday.
My lifts today:
Flat barbell bench: 135x12 - 165x8 - 185x6 - 225x3 - 225x2
Squat: 135x8 - 155x6 - 175x5 - 185x5 - 205x3
Bent over rows: 95x8 - 115x6 - 135x5 - 140x5 - 140x4
Bodyweight pullups, 3 sets with six reps each.
I lifted after I ate dinner and was feeling really bloated, and I had to **** once in the middle of the workout due to the anabolic dumps, so this workout didn't go so great. Definetly not going to ever lift after eating 16ozs of porkchops and two potatoes again... ever.

Haha good point. It was delicious, I just wish it hadn't cost me $20...
Today I had a huge lunch. Stir fry chicken with rice, and a grilled chicken breast with a plate of pasta.
My torrent came. I'm excited to use that tomorrow.
I'm not sore, but my legs feel kind of tired, worn out. Hopefully that will be gone by tomorrow.
I'm not feeling much from the Anabolic Pump yet. However the anabolic dumps are gone. I also noticed a feeling of lightheadedness, almost like I was drunk after I took an anabolic pump before lunch today. That feeling went away after I ate.
Dinner
2 Chicken qaesadias, 2 rotissery chicken legs, half a plate of mixed veggies, two bowls of pasta. Again I got lightheaded from the Anabolic Pump, but it went away after I started eating.

Day 3, Weight - 191
Workout:
Workout today felt really good! I had great energy.
DB Seated Military Press - 40x10 50x8 55x6 60x6 65x3
Squats - 135x8 135x8 155x6 155x6
Deadlifts - 205x4 - I stopped here because my back really started hurting. It's been giving me problems for the past few weeks. I'm going to stop doing deadlifts alltogether and go light on lower-back exercises until the pain goes away. Not really sure how I caused it. It feels like a deep sharp pain whenever I bend over, different kind of pain then muscle's hurting. Sharp, shooting pain. It sucks, I hope with a few weeks of light lower back work it will get better.
Weighted pullups - Widegrip 25x6, widegrip 25x6, close grip 25x7, wide grip 35x3, wide grip 10x6
I did 20 minutes of HIIT on a treadmill immedietly following my workout.
Meals:
Didn't wake up for breakfast.
Lunch I had a piece of chicken, two fish filets, one plate and one bowl of pasta, spinach, and a salad with grilled chicken and shrimp on it.
20 mins before my workout I had 25g of protein from a shake.
After my workout I took the torrent, which was freaking delicious.
Thoughts:
I think the Anabolic Pump is starting to kick in. I definetly felt really energized during today's workout.
The torrent TASTES DELICIOUS!!! That was by far the best shake I have ever tasted. It has a great tangy kick to it. Very smooth. Mixed very easily. Now we'll see if it helps me recover.

Day 5, Weight - 191
I got my Animal Pump in the mail yesterday. Today was my first day on it, and let me tell you, IT WAS INCREDIBLE!
Workout:
Bench: 135x5, 155x5, 185x8, 215x3, 255x1, 265x1(I had help on this, didn't get it by myself)
Barbell Shrugs: 225x8, 245x8, 265x6, 265x6
DB Seated Mil Press: 40x6, 50x6, 60x6, 65x5, 65x4
DB Rows: 80x6, 80x6, 85x6, 85x6, 85x6
Skullcrushers: 40x8, 60x8, 70x6, 80x6, 80x5
Bodyweight Dips: BWx15, BWx15, BWx13
DB Curls: 45x8, 45x8, 50x5
EZ Bar Curls: 80x6, 50x12
Did 20 minutes HIIT on the treadmill immedietly after workout.
Meals:
Again I missed breakfast. I've gotta stop doing that. If I don't have class I have a real hard time making myself go to bed at night, and as a consequence I sleep in late.
Lunch I had a big baked potato, soft taco, double patty melt and a bunch of strawberries.
Drank a torrent after my workout.
Thoughts:
My back is still giving me problems. In light of this new injury I'm going to be following the add 50lbs to your bench in 7 weeks program. http://www.geocities.com/~slopitch/mm2k/ Hopefully that will give my lower back time to adequately heal. Back pain is a real bitch. It felt much looser after the workout though, so It's definetly getting better already.
I can tell the Torrent is helping my recovery. I had almost no soreness yesterday and had no soreness at all today. During this workout I definetly felt completely recovered. Every lift I felt 100%! I can't get over how good it tastes also!
I still can't tell if the Anabolic Pump is doing anything yet. I do however feel fuller. My bodyfat % has not increased noticably since I've been bulking, however my genetics are really good about bodyfat, I never went over 13% during my entire bulk last year.
The Animal Pump IS AMAZING! I took it 30 mins before my workout on a empty stomach(well I didn't eat anything with it, but I still felt rather full from my lunch.) I felt more focused and energized during the workout. Felt like I could take on anything. The only downside is swallowing all those big pills, I'm not a fan of large pills.

Day 6
Not much to say. It's the weekend. I'm definetly feeling yesterdays workout. I have a light soreness, it's been easing up throughout the day and I expect it to be gone tomorrow.
Took an anabolic pump at lunch and at dinner. Next week I will start trying to take three pills a day. The dumps are gone! Hurray!

Day 8
Workout:
Started the "Add 40lbs to your bench program" today.
Bench: 4 Warmup sets. 200x6, 210x5, 210x5, 220x4, 220x4 - Needed help on last rep.
DB Bench: 70x8, 70x8, 70x8
Shoulder DB Side Raises: 25x8, 27.5x8, 27.5x10
Tricep Exensions: 70x8, 70x8, 80x5(barely)
Meals:
Slept in again, no breakfast.
Took Anabolic Pump at lunch. I had a chicken sandwich on wheat bread and a double burger on wheat bread.
Took Animal Pump before workout then torrent after workout.
I'm taking another anabolic pump before dinner.
Thoughts:
I'm feeling really full and strong right now. Torrent is great. Recovery is amazing, there hasn't been a day at the gym where I've felt tired or worn out yet.
The animal pump is working great. I am definetly more focused and I'm actually looking forward to pain and pushing myself.
Anabolic Pump is helping I guess. I feel fuller and I haven't noticed much fat gain at all, even though I have literally been stuffing myself at every meal.
I watched Pumping Iron a few nights ago. That got me really motivated to lift heavy and lift hard. Arnold's the man!

Day 10, Weight 192.1
Workout:
Machine Rows: 135x8, 150x8, 165x6, 180x6, 180x6
Barbell Shrugs: 225x8, 245x8, 275x6, 305x6
Weighted pullups: Wide grip - 25x5, 25x5, Close grip 25x6, Wide grip 35x4, 35x4
DB Curls: 37.5x8, 45x6, 47.5x6, 50x5
Did 25 minutes of semi-high intensity HIIT
Supplements:
Anabolic Pump at lunch, didn't have one at dinner because I ate with a friend after lifting and couldn't get back to my room. I plan to take one later tonight and drink some protein + carbs with it.
Animal Pump 30 mins before I went to the gym.
Torrent right after my workout, before running.
Meals:
Lunch - Sloppy Joe meat, some hamber helper caserole, and a big plate of spaghetti.
Dinner - Huge dinner. 6 Meatballs, two bowls of this vietnamese rice noodle soup, two peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches on wheat bread, and some onion rings.
Thoughts:
Workout felt really good again today. My chest is still a little sore from Monday's workout, I feel that was the hardest I've worked my chest for a long time.
My arms were SUPER pumped today! I was really impressed. The Animal Pump is DEFINETLY making my workouts more intense and my pumps better. I love it. I remember when I first started lifting I curled the 20 pounders, and I always wanted to be able to curl 50lbs so bad because that was the highest weight we had in our highschool gym. It was awesome being able to curl the 50 pounders today, it's one of those milestones.
The torrent is amazing. My recovery is wonderful. I haven't had a workout where I've felt tired or wornout at all since I've been on it.
I think the Anabolic Pump is kicking in. I feel like this is the biggest I've ever been. My bodyfat is still low, I'd say I'm just as defined if not a little more defined then when I started my bulk.
My back pain is almost completely gone. I'm really glad, it looks like taking a few days off was all it needed.

Oh I just wanted to add that I have experienced almost no adverse effects from any of these supplements as of yet.
I had a little bit of the anabolic dumps, but that went away almost immedietly. I've heard of people having trouble sleeping and such when they're on products like Animal Pump, but if anything it's helping me sleep better because it's making me work much harder in the gym.
Oh, and is anyone reading this journal? Haha if anyone is, a little feedback would be appreciated.
