I feel like my fat loss has stalled...

OK. I've been cutting for a month, and until this week I've been very pleased with progress. Last week I lowered my calories to 1900/day...and I'm now doing cardio 6 days a week (40 minutes), and then HIIT on Sunday. I haven't lost a fraction of an inch off my arms, which is mostly what I'm going by. Until yesterday, I was thinking "Hey...I look a lot leaner and tighter already". Now, while I AM more vascular in places, I'm scared I'm not on pace to be at 8 or 9 % by June. I'm afraid to lower calories again already and I can't do much more cardio than I am lol...WTF do I do?

Keep in mind that I've gone from about 188 to 179 in about 4-5 weeks, without any noticable loss around arm, chest, or legs. I just don't see the waist shrinking much, either.

Your initial weight loss is more then likely water weight and glycogen stores being depleted.

I'm aware of that and I agree...but what do I do? I'm paranoid of lowering calories anymore just yet...but I don't have a lot of time to **** around and SEE if something works. I just need it to work...lol.

Do I just stick with lots of cardio and my current cals...and hope for the best?

i def. wouldnt lowering your calories at your size, Remember to drinbk alot of water, watch sodium so you dont retain to much and hit the cardio and weight high. Remember to keep your protein high so you dont loose to much muscle

That's one thing...my weights haven't gone down at the gym in anything. My protein intake is well over 1g per pound...truthfully I may just be paranoid. Maybe the places I WANT to lose are just the last places from which I'm gonna lose. meh.

I would look into adding in refeeds once and a while, as somewhat of a metabolism off-setter. This really jumpstarts fat loss for most of whom use the principle. Or do some research on Calorie Cycling.

Well I'm in the same boat, but I'm at the end of a 16 week cut and I'm trying to get rid of the last 5-7 lbs or so. I have lowered cals to the minimum and cant go any lower, cardio couldnt be any more, and I already carb and calorie cycle. My progress has stalled so I'm refeeding big on Thursday. After that I start one last new shock technique for 3 weeks max: fasted cardio (oh no, not that!!!) Yep, 10g BCAAs, Caffeine, and Ephedrine HCL before-hand and then good breakfast with c/p/f afterwards. It wont be HIIT, I do HIIT on my higher carb days, but it will be about 20-25 min of walk/jog cardio to wrap this cut up and get down to 6-7% BF.

I dont advise this be done for more than 2 or 3 weeks though, especially on a pretty large calorie defecit diet. It's mainly just a final kick in the ass at the end of the cut. Last time I did this it worked well and I was as lean as I have ever been, so wish me luck
