When ever I do stiff legs now I get a horrible burning skin stretching pain on the left and right side a little above my waist line.
I've done stiff legs before with no problems and I know what kind of burn is associated when you do them. I wear a belt when I am doing them because it's a must during class. And I am pretty sure it's not the belt digging into my stomach either. I was only doing 140 pounds. I don't think it's a hernia because it doesn't hurt during any other workout.
Anyone have any similar problems/know anyone who has our know what the problem could be. I am going to see a doctor in the future.
Ive had that on my left side doing deadlifts once i have no clue what it was, i took some time off and it hasnt bothered me since...but ya i would go get it checked out if it keeps up.

Stop the exercise and report it the supervisor of the weight room. You do not want to further aggravate the situation. When you go to the doctor, make sure you give the him or her a thorough explanation of what happened.
