At one of my first jobs, I'd walk through the nearby mall at lunch and I'd see this very cute girl working at a candy shop. I saw her there a few times, just walked by and smiled, never said anything. Then one day I decided to ask her out. I just sucked it up and started talking to her. After a minute or so, I told her that I wasn't interested in candy and wondered if she'd like to go out some time. She said yes and gave me her number. I was pretty stoked!
