Certain chickens taste different than others?

I picked up some foster farms fresh chicken breasts and they were TERRIBLE. Picked them up around 3 times within the month and they all tasted the same. They cooked up really funny and the texture was basically rubber. But on the other hand, the foster farms FROZEN chicken is pretty much the best frozen chicken out there.

I forgot what other fresh breast brand I picked up, but they were MUCH better than foster farms. Then, I picked up some Tyson fresh chicken breasts for the first time a week ago and they were even better (the best).
