Ness's MAN Body Octane Final Review

I really enjoyed the opportunity to log Body Octane. Thanks again to MAN for allowing me to do so.

First off, I would be wrong not to mention how good this supplement tastes! I am not one to avoid a beneficial product based on flavor, but it is certainly nice to get some pleasing flavors while cutting. It is tangy, citrusy (new word? ) and generally yummy.

I believe that beta alanine and citrulline malate are definitely great additions to any bb'ers' stack, but that this product really shines on a cut. Reduced calories and increased cardio can definitely take a toll on the quality of training, yet I have not noted any of my training to suffer as a result. I was reluctant to believe the claims of cardio being easy, especially since I had done none in the months leading up to my cut, but it's true. Cardio was actually easier each time (4x/week) although I was always either adding additional resistance or time each session. For the record, I lost 4 lbs during this log without any loss of strength. 4 lbs may not be a lot for some people, but it's a large margin when you're my size.

I am glad that I chose to load beta alanine in the 3-4 weeks prior to this log so that I was able to experience Body Octane fully. If I didn't still have a lot of b-a to use, I would have purchased another tub of Octane by now; however, I do see a difference between taking b-a only and BO which contains higher dosed citrulline. With my bcaa supplementation (Xtend during this log) I had very little soreness, but since adding BO it was just about zero, which I attribute to the higher dosed CM.

Since I still have b-a and am out of Xtend, I ordered a TP bcaa mix with glutamine peptides and higher dosed CM. It will be interesting to see if my body reacts in the same way as it did while taking BO. Either way, I intend to use Body Octane again when my other b-a runs out.

MAN's reputation on bb.com is well earned. Not only can I state easily that they have some good formula's and reps/employees, but now I can vouch for product effectiveness as well. I will definitely try other products of their line based on this experience.

I don?t understand why they dislike carnitine so much. It?s strange though. I know Joey has sent some products purchased from the MAN Sports website to Canada and there were no problems whatsoever, then other times they stop them immediately.
