Searched/can't Find- Udo's, Fish, Or Flax
Guys,
I have searched ALL day, on here and on the net.
What is the best EFA. I am taking Udo's now, but heard I don't need the extra Omega 6 & 9's. So if I were to switch to another sorce of Omega 3 would Fish or Flax Oil be the better choice?
Also, I am taking 4 tbsp of Udo's now, what would the amount be roughly for these?

Udo's is good. I was taking it for a while. Only thing I would say is to be sure 4 tbsps of Udo's fits into your daily calories (and macros) as EACH tablespoon is 125 cals. Your daily dose is 500cals, which is about 1/5th of my daily calorie requirements and that is huge. Not sure how it fits into your daily cals/macros. The directions recommend 2 tbsp/day.

check out omega 3-6-9 from NOW. I think they also have a super 3-6-9 too.

I am taking a 3-6-9 now, Udo's Choice. I have heard I don't need the 6-9 so much and to just take 3. So I would like to know what source is best?

In terms of choosing a fish oil product, there are lots of fish oils on the market that are decent. And, despite what some will have you believe, few are full of contaminants and toxins. In fact, the fish oils contain less mercury and PCBs than the fish itself.
I typically recommend Costco's Kirkland or Sam's Club's Member's Mark brand. This brand is low in contaminants and is pretty cheap. Per 1000mg you get about 300mg of EPA and DHA.
Another good one is o3mega by Genuine Health. It is guaranteed to be from wild fish (which contains a better fatty acid profile relative to farm raised fish) and is molecularly distilled to guarantee the removal of toxins and heavy metals. Per 1000mg you get about 300mg of EPA and DHA.
UDOs does not contain EPA/DHA, the most useful components of fish oil. However, as a general addition of some additional healthy fat (to balance your fat intake at about 33% of each type), it's one of the best.
