went on a date with a rich girl who works at abercrombie..i feel pretty inadequate?
i met her on myspace....we both go for nursing but i go to a diffrent college than she does. she goes to the most expensive one in the city...and i go to the cheapest..
her dad is an anesthesiologist...and her mom is an RN..
my dad is a machinist he makes parts for the US army tanks...and my mom works for the gas company...
her house is insane...voice activated security controls on the doors..2 hot tubs..i can go on forever...REAL nice.. (picked her up there tonight)
my house is a duplex...and it is the size of the 'east wing' part of her house...
she has a cleaning lady that comes and does all her their ****
i have 3 weeks of laundry backed up in my room..
i will admit when i picked her up i was very nervous all that money made me uncomfortable..i am not used to that
i went to starbucks with her tonight...we have a lot in common...but it seems like she has her fun by spending ass loads of money i.e. vacations, going up to their condo in New york.. just doing things that cost ass loads...
and i have my fun by going to this local cafe and listening to people play acoustic music..and working out
she calls me about 4 times a day...i can say that we are 'into' each other....but i feel like i may be inadequate for her socially....
what do you guys think?

man i am intimadated so much..it makes me nervous to my stomach when i take that 3 MINUTE DRIVE...up her drive way...ya it takes me that long

although that might be true i dont think its socially its materialiticlly....just play it off and the best thing u can do in this situation is just hold your own

the same happened to me, girl super rich her dad owns a huge shipping company she lives in a mansion on the hills drives an clk500 that she got for her 17th b-day, mom sells homes worht $15 milllion in rich areas in tows, im poor too lol, i felt a little inadequate too especially going ot her house and being with her rich friends, but dude keep your head high act educated and know that with hard work you too will be filthy rich so dont sweat it and enjoy it

Just change that "nervous" feeling into excited. Instead of contemplating "Am i adequate?" Contemplate how good that hot tube is gonna be. Whats the worst that could happen? She dumps you cuz ur not rich. If thats the case f*ck her anyway. At least u got a few days in paradise.

Hey man, I wouldn't let that stop me. Just have confidence in yourself and everything will play out alright. I will say this though, make sure she's not stuck up. All that money will not make up for how much of a bitch she can be towards you if she is stuck up. Just play your cards right and get in good with the parents. Right now, they have the money and not her. Just get in good with her and them and everything will play out alright.
