Syntrax Nectar Twisted Cherry + DS Sus. Bar
Just got my order in yesterday and immediately snatched the Vanilla Almond Designer Nutrition Sustain Bar out.
Initial Impression: The box has a cool look to it, like steel plating. The bars are packaged in individual boxes and have the same style as the big box. They remind me of Dove bars at first. The bar itself is wrapped in silver wrapping. An Innovative way package protein bars. 10/10
Taste: Very, very good. By far the best tasting protein bar I have tried. Very noticable vanilla flavor, which I love. I dont know how else to describe it. 10/10
Texture: This is where the bar caught me by suprise. I expected a harder, chewier bar, but that was not the case. The initial bite is harder...but once it hits your mouth...it kinda sponges up. I compare it to a somewhat frozen cake. The bar just kinda melted in my mouth while I chewed it. Little bits of almonds add crunch to the smooth texture. Excellent Job. 10/10
Price: at $1.87/bar these are priced very good compared to what I usually buy at speedway at lunch. 9/10
Ingredients: I think that DS/DN did a nice job choosing simple, effective ingredients in this bar. The protein blend is good, though a couple more grams wouldnt hurt. A little bit more fiber for my liking, and it is perfect. I like honey used as the only sweetner also. other than that, it is good to go. 10/10
Overall: 10/10 Best bar out hands down right now. Although VPX Zi bars are close, they are way behind on taste and texture.
Welp...Ambien is kicking in right now so the screen is kinda floating...Ill finish the Twisted Cherry tomorrow.

Well, most of us know the quality we are getting when we buy Syntrax products, especially with Nectar. I am not going to get into mixability, texture, ingredients, etc. because we all know theyre 10's.
Now on to what matters....Flavor.
Honestly, this is the best tasting protein I have had to date. Even trumping my old favorite, Fuzzy Navel. The cherry taste is excellent. It sorta tastes like cherry juice mixed with some milk I guess...but it is amazing. By far my favorite flavor right now, and probably for a while. I highly recommend it to anyone...its hard to see someone not liking this flavor.

Yeah, it's pretty damn good but Roadside lemonade will always be my favorite Nectar flavor. I say it is my second favorite. Thanks for posting feedback.

Twisted Cherry has to be one of the best tasting protiens I have ever had. I have tried quite a few and have never found anything that tasted that good. But I would expect nothing else with Nectar.

Haha as late is this is, no, MI.
I have gone through 2 tubs of Twisted Cherry. My favorite protein still, but I am testing out the Matrix C&C tonight...so we will see....

Nectar is amazing. I bought some Lemon Tea flavour today for the first time and it tastes pretty damn good. But the mixability and thickness (or lack thereof) is what amazes me. I only stirred it with a spoon and the bottom of the glass was pretty much clear after I was done. And it was not thick at all, which I prefer for a protein.
