My brother has got 16inch arms has been training for just under a year I was wondering If I followed the training programme he followed as a beginner (which I am) will I get more or less same results?

"Genetics are the weak mans excuse for why he sucks at life" -Don't remember the bodybuilders name.

Compound = Size
So im guessing you need to be eating more, the 'general' rule is every 15 lbs you gain, you put an inch on your arms(or is it half inch?)
