I was watching a Jack LaLanne video on youtube, where he talked about people being out of sync with nature. And how nature prescribes a certain lifestyle to us and if people don't follow it they suffer. He told people to "obey the laws of nature" and how great the outcome will be for them and how happy they will feel.
And i thought.
A person can disregard Gods 'laws' and still lead a healthy, happy life.
And yet if a person disregards natures 'laws' (not the 'laws of nature') in respect to diet, sleep cycles, not enough exercise, being a social creature etc they suffer. Mentally, physically.
The effects of a good diet, plenty of exercise and sleep are self evident. As are the consequences of a lack of them.
What are the consequences of a lack of religion in a person life?
Did he discuss how natural & healthy it is, to shoot your body full of unnatural steroids to create the 'perfect look' as well?
No, that's not something Jack would have promoted.

I would argue that Nature's laws and God's laws are one and the same. There are some laws you can break with no immediate consequence, and others that have an instant effect. For example, you can shoot yourself in the face or you can smoke 3 packs a day. It is very likely both will kill you, but the timing is pretty different.
