IA Simple power based

I'm a bit of a hard gainer and havent had a gym membership in a long time. I was wondering if I should do cardio on the non-lifting days considering "A Simple Power Based Routine" is only 3 days a week?

As a hardgainer, you need to realize that long cardio is bad. I would simply do HIIT cardio or some forms of GPP and on those days increase my calories even more to make up for the lost calories.

Hardgainers are the norm, easygainers are the exception. Welcome to the world of the genetically average.

Three days a week is plenty and two days a week may even be better if you are in the group of true hardgainers. Doing cardio is really a personal choice. You have to decide what your goals are going to be. Is building maximum muscle your goal, or just all around fitness.

If muscle gain is your priority, then hold off on the cardio, and let your body use that energy for muscle growth. If overall fitness is your goal, then have at it. Realize though, that you can only ask your body to do so much, at one time.

However you decide to go, work into it gradually, and build up to full operating tempo over a couple of months.

And one thing to think about, is that you don't have to eliminate cardio completely, just make sure it's in moderation. Also, your workout session is to some extent like a cardio session, at least as a side benefit. If you do cardio, you might try to limit yourself to a half hour on your off-days, or do something like play basketball or do swimming - something recreational, that you can have fun with.
