hmmm, I eat every 2-3 hours, good food, high protein, meat ect.. I also work 40hrs a week and if i try and train balls to the wall for 2 hours every night at 7pm, i just seem to get in a overtrained state.

BWAHAHAHAHA. No wonder. Why don't you start with the basics. For the last 5 years its been a generally accepted fact that you should train no more than 45-50 minutes per session, because then cortisol rises and GH drops. You are deliberately putting yourself in harms way. That's one of the primary keys to ICE.

Now what are you trying to tell me i dont eat enough? Or maybe i dont eat the right foods? No, i'll tell you whats wrong, its the body can only handle so much stress at one time, lifting puts a ton of stress on your mind and body, so dont give me some stupid azz remark of not eating enough, its bull and i dont think you know sh!t. I would go toe to toe with you on training and nutrition any day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh by all means please do. Anyone that trains for 2 hours on end doesn't know jack to begin with and I'd love to whipe that smugness off of you in under 2 seconds.
Here's one to start on : Why on earth do you believe you have to train two hours per session ?

High volume works for a short period of time, unless: A) one is on roids, b) he or she can sit and relax all day long with no stress whats so ever, or c) he or she is like Arnold and can handle beyond human stress.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arnold was a pussy that relied on his roids, have you seen his recent pictures at st.Barth ? My God. You probably even look better than that. These are not pre-requisites for high volume training. You just don't have the balls to complete 20 sets in 50 minutes. THAT, my friend is the prerequisite for high volume training with success ...

Dr. Frederick C. Hatfield wrote a bodybuilding book, in the book he even says to be careful of overtraining, no surpris he lifts and he is a Dr, so i think its safe to say he knows his sh!t,
Uhm, I'm a doctor. I received my doctorate in molecular biology just a few months ago. i'm currently working on adding a masters in physical therapy to that. If Dr. Hatfield presents any evidence, I will gladly refute it for you ...

[b]but really who needs a book or anything eles to tell them that they can overtrain if their not careful. Maybe you should read the book, or maybe you should put your words into practice and lift. Do you even workout?

5 days a week, 50 minutes, 12-20 sets per workout. High protein, low GI carb, high calorie diet. 221 lbs with 8% (used to be 225 at 4% when I still competed). And I'm under a hell of a lot more stress each day than you, partially from pussies that don't know jack about science like yourself that think they can take a pop at me...

Really because i'm sure if you did you would know overtraining is real, very real.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. I'm sure it puts you to sleep at night. I on the other hand don't sleep unless I know I did everything I can to grow.
Yeah, Derek, bring on that thread about training. This piss-ant made me anxious to demonstrate my skill...

There has been some good discussion. We can continue that here.
