Brown Recluse
I was cleaning up part of my yard about ten minutes ago and picked this old box up. I decided I would break it down and pack it into a gabage bag. crawling up to my hand was a brown recluse. I slung the box down and the spider landed into a lil mudd puddle. I got him looked at him for a bit, killed him, took photos and smeared him into the road. Anyways, here he is
You might have to look real close to see the fiddle shape on its back cause my camera wouldn't get as close with a clear shot as i wanted it too. but if you look good, you can see it.

Poor spider, he would've f-cked you up. I hope a recluse goes inside your ear and bites your brain.

One of the guys I was in Ranger School with got bit by a Brown Recluse. His arm swole to the size of his leg.
He pushed on his forearm and puss shot out of his elbow area where he was bitten....****ing disgusting. They had to hook a baggie up to his arm for the puss to drip into when he was sleeping. His arm started to rot too so...it was ****ed up.

i've read about 90% of "brown recluse bites" aren't actually from brown recluses.. they are called "recluse" for a reason - they hide.

I don't know what kind this was, but it was huge. Taken at the corner of our house with a phone camera. About 2-3ft away.

That looks like a Wolf Spider. Brown recluse bites will preety much melt your skin off your body. It'll start as a small red mark and then get a bruise around it. Almost like an infected heroine addict's jack hole. But, it's very treatable with antibiotics.

I'd bug if I saw a Brown Recluse... I hate spiders in general, but I don't mind if I know they ain't gonna touch me though. So I'll watch 'em from a distance or whatever, just not a fan of them enough to close or tough them or something.

lol
I have found three black widows as well near the end of the summer. I killed them cause i don't want them creeping into my house. plus i have kids in the house. I was kind of iffy about picking stuff up in my yard after capturing the brown recluse cause i kept thinking one was going to get on me. but i am really not worried about one getting into bed with me. I don't think about it

Dude, they live throughout the south and southish midwest area. I wouldn't doubt there are ones within a few acres radius of your house, or at least a bunch within a mile radius. Well, depends what type of place you live in actually.
But either way, Recluses don't like being seen and being active. They are called "recluse" (as someone said) for a reason. They are usually in closests, basements, etc, in places nothing is ever touched. So, honestly, to anyone who thinks they live in an area with Recluses, just make sure you shake out old clothing, dust places, keep webs around your house away by destroying them when you spot 'em, that stuff. If you don't give them a place to live, they won't bother you. Spiders aren't going to be around places where they'd be touched/killed 24/7, so they won't have a chance to creep into hiding places if you keep everything clean.

I remember once when going fishing, I turned around and saw two huge spiders. Both were the same kind of spider and they both had their own web right next to each other. I later found out they were Garden Spiders.
