yes I have the game over volume #1 book. I weigh in right now about 220lbs. I have put on about 10-12lbs over the holidays (you know how it gets) but a lot of which is water weight. I'm already down 4lbs in 3 days. anyhow, I want to start my calories high, which is why I decided with those macro's for my carb up. I am currently ingesting about 3k kcals on non-carb days and about 3700 on carb ups
So anyways look ok?
Oh and marc, while I have you posting on the thread, is there anything else I can substitute for the sweet potato? Can I have 1 cup brown rice instead of the sweet potatoes?
thanks in advance.

I would also like to know if you can use 1 cup of brown rice. I cannot stand sweet potatoes/yams. Last time I carbed up I just replaced the sweet potatoes with a piece of whole wheat bread spread with natty pb.

how you liking the diet so far? I am finding my energy levels are far better than expected this early on, seeing as this is my first carb up. Leg workout was A ok yesterday, although I did notice that fatigue set in about 45 min in. I made it last about 55min and was done hammy's and quads!

Been on it for about 3 weeks. I started it about a month ago but couldn't finish so I decided to start all over again. I love this diet. Hardest part for me is getting to eat all the food. The 1st few carb ups for me were a bit tough with the bloating and gas and all. But overall its a great diet. Chuck and the rest of the Scviation guys know what they are doing.

Can you stand a regular baked potato?
We do not recommend switching anything on the carb meal.

Marc is extremely HARDCORE, but if you want to try brown rice, you can. I have not used it often with the cut diet but sometimes people need other good carb options and brown rice is a good carb IMO. Optimally the SP has doe the best for my clients (the reason its recommended) but I would say to give the brown rice a try and see how your body responds to it. 1/3 cup brown rice (measured after cooked) = 1 carb serving.

Am I weird? I love the taste of sweet potatoes especially with a little peanut/almond butter on top.

If you need the 2500 calorie diet then the carbload is made for the people who need to be on the 2500 calorie diet. I think its fine if you want to add a bit more to the carb load, just monitor your changes, but what you mean you dont feel it?
How are your results?
Stats?

If your losing fat, and not losing strength or anything then why change anything? If you want to add to the carb load thats your decision, just monitor your changes and adjust as needed. I know chuck sometimes adds to his clients carb loads.
