(SERIOUS) Advice On Geting A 2nd Job? Early Mornings? (SERIOUS)
Well, unfortunatly i'm at that point in life were i need more income to be able to support myself financialy. i've been good so far with my current job, but as time goes on bills add up. and knowing myself, if i don't start finding ways of earning a 2nd income, the repo man will pay a visit too me, probably very soon too.
So, heres the situation, i work majority of the weekdays (3-5 days,). i open to (10am). and i work mid-day on weekends. usually just saturdays, but sometimes sundays too.
Now i'm geting more hours than any other person at my work. Reason being is because i'm the only one with morning availability. in no way am i a morning person, i hate waking up to a alarm. etc...but i man up, because...well....i need the money. and its only a small sacrifice.
Well, i open, usually from 10am to whenever. sometimes tell 5pm. i'd like to keep my night open though so i can hang out with friends and such. you know, still have a good time.
So i've looked at my options, and realize that my only real good opening is early mornings. and from what i've seen, theres only a few select work opertunites.
1) paper delievery driver. i wouldn't mind doing this, but they require that you have your own transportation. and that its reliable. now i have a car, but in no way is it reliable, and honestly, i don't want to be adding more miles on my car than i need to. because its really coming close to the end of its time.
2) Bakery delievery drivers. Now this is something i don't mind, i would like to do this, because you use a company vehicle. problem with this however, is that they require a good traffic history. and well, i've had 2 speeding tickets in the past 2 years. so i'm allready disqualified. not to mention i would probably eat all the damn donuts while i'm driving. lol
3) Early Morning Warehouse. I can do this, this would be my 2nd choice next to the bakery driver. But... all the warehouse jobs that i've been able to find have been something like 5am-1pm. I can't do that, because most of the time i'm opening at 10am at my other job.
so thats what i have found. and you might ask "Hey slag, why don't you just ask for more hours at your current job?" Well...i do, and i'm chill with all the managers and such. But theres no way the company can give out more hours. right now its just a dead season for us. we only pick up more hours around Summer and Christmas. that when its our money making time.
So guys, what other jobs can you think of that might be offering early morning? i've checked all the main places, craigslist, monster, yahoo jobs. etc...ideas?
And to those who work early mornings (i'm talking like 4am-ish) is it hard? or is it just like any other job, you just get used to it? any tips too? coffee? energy drink? i know for my current job its very fast pace, but sometimes i'll hit that tired point were i'm ready to crash, and the only thing that can help me is a snack, or a energy drink.
so thanks guys in advance, for all those who help. i definetly appreciate it.

ups and fedex have overnight shifts only about 5 hours long wit good benefits and pay for the job. Good exercise as well. They all end well before 10am as well. check their websites and apply online. that would give you around 15-20 extra hours of work than now and an extra 150-200 dollars a week.also, ups does not take out for insurance, and they are both weekly pay

bouncing is always a good deal. its usually only a few nights a week tops, and its pretty chill. all my friends like it because they get to screw with drunk people, free drinks, and it can be good for getting chicks too, not to mention half way decent pay (a lot of times under the table).

Grave shift sounds best but you'll probably be tired and have barely any days to party.
