too big?
alright here goes you guys know your stuff. .
I'm 173. . my weight hasd gone up significantly in the last month by 10 pounds or so. The problem is I know some of the weight is fat and some is muscle but with this new size I have trouble breathing. Example of such is I walked up a hill not even 100 feet with laundry and little had to catch my breathe. Is it possible to be to big for your lungs.

that is what happens when you train all your muscles except 1.......
the heart
your lungs are too small to transport the extra amount of oxygen to your increased muscles.
my advice, start doing cardio and your laundry sound leave you breathless, leave that to the special moments in your life

He does train his heart muscle. By weight training.
But yeah you might want to additionally do some cardio,

no, he just simply needs to work on some endurance training. I doubt it has anything to do with the size of his lungs. In fact I can almost garuntee you it doesn't have a thing to do with his lung size

I agree throw in some cardio. I've never heard of lung size having anything to do with endurance. If you don't like cardio maybe some circuit training. IMO

LOL @ 173 lbs being too big to walk up a hill. Looks like you bulked up without doing cardio like the old school. Listen to the coach (layne) it works.

Got to do cardio bro, you can be vary thin and look great but if you dont do the endurance part to train your heart then you will get out of breath fast.

you are nowhere near too big....you are just in poor aerobic shape if you get out of breath from running up a hill. I mean look at NFL players who are 240 and can run 6minute miles...huge but in shape!

one reason there is no cardio I have asthma. I get out of breahte anyway. Plus for me to gain mass I need lots I mean lots of cals like 4000 a day very hard for me to gain, but maybe some walking I don't know.

You have to start slowly. I had slight exercise induced asthma but I had to learn how to breath properly. If its that serious you need to have an inhaler.
