Mix well and cook well etc Originally your meant to use 8oz of unsweetened chocolate and 3 cups of sugar, which I changed to chocolate whey and splenda. As for the cup of butter, is that ok? :P

I presume you're bulking?
You might as well have just eaten regular cookies.
How many did that mixture make?

Not bulking, just bored. I would suggest you add chocolate chips in the mixture as well as add icing but yep, they do taste nice .. kind of like a wholemeal chocolate muffin in my opinion but I do recommend others to try it WITH the added choc chips

careful
careful, as i heard that whey protein dies out a certain temperature / heat (loses its nutrional content).
so I don't know if im right or wrong. ?
you can research on it.

The protein will denature, therefore it will lose it's fast digesting nature, however the primary molecular structure is not altered (only the quaternery and tertiary structures for you biology nerds out there) and thus the actualy nutritional profile (the amount of protein) is not affected.
BTW these look good, though I'm not an avid fan of butter of flour. If someone could find replacements i'd definitely give them a try.

If they'll bake without the flour I'm sure it'd still be good, I had to add a bit more to thicken it .. As for the butter could you try olive oil?

Its says 6-8 Scoops, of Whey, do you mean actual scoops or 6-8 grams?? They do look really good. Was it hard to get the Whey to mix in? I have a hard time mixing a shake with just skim milk and some Whey. But you got me wanting to try to make some 2morrow

I chucked in 7 scoops straight away and it was a bit hard to mix in. I'd say put the melted butter in a bigger mixing bowl and add the whey one scoop at a time and mix it in .. if it gets too thick just start adding some milk in until its fairly smooth and not thick and gluggy, add more milk or butter if it gets too gluggy.

Given up on the Keto eh? Well, it's not for everyone...can be quite intimidating. Good luck in your fitness regardless!

the best homemade bars are the ones u dont cook... protein denatures when cooked to a certain level so a no-bake rcipe is safe..
also a cup of butter? surely u can find somethin better... that is a TON of fat

Guys I'm not relying on these for a protein source nor a meal replacement nor a regular part of my diet - nor am I suggesting people eat these everday .. just a bit of fun in baking something and contributing to others that may want to try them.

I'm pretty sure you can substitute apple sauce for the butter, someone correct me if I'm wrong. And I would go with whole wheat flower probably. Other than that looks pretty good.
