Alot of rappers are hypocrites

I hear so many rappers praising god, thanking god for letting them become who they are and the success they have, but I highly doubt god helped them become a rapper who talks about killing and sex and drugs and cursing all the time. I am not talking about all rappers as not all are like that, but alot of the mainstream rappers nowadays. Bone thugs, while very talented, have songs like crossroads where they praise god and pray to him and very positive religiously, but then have songs like shots to the double glock and many many others about killing and drugs and f the police. Tupac is another. People say he was a great man, but in my opinion, he was talented but just another thug who probably got what was coming to him when he was killed. He was just another gang banger or someone who hung around them.
Another example, DMx says a prayer to god outloud when he accepted an award a couple of years ago and he tried ir did become an ordained minister, yet he constantly has run ins with the law and has songs glorifying the usual for mainstream rappers and constant cursing. What gives? Are these rappers truly think they are good role models, or just doing it as a joke or image?

same here, ive actually " converted " alot of rock people to REAL rap, when they understand its poetical talent. I believe people need to look into real rap first, not just assume its all mainstream bull****. Ignorance.
