diet, training logs
I know this has problem been covered but just to get some ideas.
I am looking to start logging daily food, training, supplementation, rest etc in a note book. Before I have just made my diets in excel and followed them, then when completed binned the information. Although this approach has worked and I have remained true to the diets it makes me clueless about what I was eating a month ago. I am unable to see what I have done overall to achieve the gains I have made (or lack of).
Bodybuilding is difficult because there are so many variables to consider, a missed meal for example here and there due to other factors (work etc.).
I am thinking of combining a nutrition and training journal in one notebook and recording each day as I go. After two weeks record my body measurements as usual and then look back over the past weeks and decide what could be improved.
`i would be interested in getting some views from people who compete and how they organize everything.
