BSN Nitrix
I thought I'd share my experience with the subject product. I was taking it for 10 days after which I had to discontinue due to extreme head ache during lifting. The pain would build up in the back of my head with every rep I do. It started to show up after first week of taking Nitrix (3x times a day, 4 pills) and got to the point where I couldn't do 2 sets of shoulders The pain was so extreme I could barely walk to the locker room, I thought my head is going to explode. After I discontinued the Nitrix the symptoms slowly went away in about 6-7 days.
There you have it.

I know thiswill sound retarded, but how's your breathing control? My partner noticed day that, I was not breathing correctly hence the headaches, and so forth. I came close to passing out one time doing squats because of the improper breathing. Now, I am guilty of catching myself doing the same sometimes. Just my two cents.....

No retarded at all, very good point. Improper breathing, especially with squats or leg press can contribute into pressure build-up.
But no, my breathing didn't change, exhale on exertion inhale on the way back. As I said in my original post it's been very easy to see the effect of Nitrix on myself since it's the only thing that changed in the system. It slowly built up (just as stated on the label 7-14 days to accumulate, took me 9) and after I stopped taking it - it slowly went away. Guess it's just not for me.

Any other experiences with Nitrix? I just started it. No problems thus far.

Nitrix
I am also interested in this BSN product. As I see, it could cause problems. I am just using 80% protein suplement, nothing else. I am quite afraid of taking NITRIX (and things like it), cause I am not sure, if the damage wouldnt be bigger than the profit to my body.

can you still take your proteins and No-explode whilst taking nitrix as the directions say to take on a empty stomach for best results so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

wow..seems to be a lot of discussion on Nitrix as of late. I have been taking if for 3 weeks now and have had nothing but good results....though I did have headaches for a few days a week and a half ago. I say that was due to the decrease in caffeine I was getting.

I've had nothing but good experiences with N.O. explode. It gives me the energy to last through our intense workouts especially on leg day.

For some reason, the 2 supplement companies I do not trust are Muscletech and BSN. I have tried muscletech products and they are WAY OVERPRICED and they suck big monkey balls.

Tell you the truth, I really do not. I am not a certified personal trainer or in the med field to sufficiently answer that. If I tell you yes and god forbid something happens to you, I would feel bad .....To me, it sounds like a lot for a 17 year old....maybe others have a better answer

I'm in my 3rd week of taking Nitrix... I have also experienced headaches... it starts 10-15 minutes after taking the tablets, but goes away after I've eaten...
I've gained 4lbs in the two weeks with no noticeable increase in fat%... a big deal for me! Also had definite strength increases in all lifts and virtually instantaneous recovery after workouts... I'm figuring on sticking out the 12-week cycle.
Take care
Bert

I've been on Nitrix for 4 weeks. Not much noticeable change. I am also on SuperPump 250, and can definitely tell the results from it. I have been really paying extra attention to see what I could be getting from Nitrix, but can't see anything.

I just really didn't feel anything on my cycle of Nitrix, my veins were kinda noticeable but overall I don't feel that I got any real benefit from it.

If you weigh more than 200lbs., 1 bottle isn't going to last you more than 2 weeks. It's not the cheapest NO supplement out there but I think it gets a bad wrap because of that and because it doesn't have any "pre workout stims". I don't really think it should be classified in the same category as a pre workout NO supp, like NO Xplode or SuperPump250. It's not that kind of NO supplement. People have the wrong expectations when they use Nitrix.

I agree, it shouldnt be in the same categorie as the stims, but my bitch was i got nothing at all from it, a total waste of time and money.Same as no xplode. The first time i tried sp250 i was powering through my workouts. But i spose with supps it works for some and not others.Theres never any absolutes.

best not to stack nitric oxide with caffeine. nitric oxide is a vasodilator; creatine is a vasoconstrictor.
