I am currently deployed in Iraq I don't know how well that will go. I would love to get some exposure through your website by not only promoting myself, but also bb.com . I love you site and I would love an opportunity to be featured in one of your ads. God Bless you all at bbc.

Do you have a great build but are not in the fitness industry (i.e., supplement company or personal trainer?) We're looking to showcase those of us who do not work in gyms! We're looking for the guy or gal who holds a "regular" job, but still has time to train and keep fit.

We're looking for people who are reaching their goals in our Bodybuilding.com/BodySpace community; those who look great and take their body and health seriously.
We want to show that great bodies and reaching fitness goals can be achieved no matter what you do - especially if you have a desk job!
Do you have a great story to tell? Did bodybuilding.com help you reach your goals? We want to hear from you.

Madame Librarian Speaks
Shhhhhh.....don't tell anybody this, but I would not be where I am at today in terms of my health and fitness goals if it weren't for Bodybuilding.com. Specifically the BodySpace/BodyBlog feature.
Living in a small Midwestern Missouri town makes it extremely hard for me to find peers that share my passion for weight training. Having an online community here at Bodybuilding.com, has reaffirmed my identity as a bodybuilder. Reading articles on this site and the bodyblogs of other members validates the importance of fitness training and a healthy diet, which are viewpoints I do not often hear in the day to day outside world.
Thank you Bodybuilding.com! You are the only online bodybuilding world I need!

I'd be interested.
My desk job (mostly) is as a chemical engineer for an oil company. (One of the so called super majors.)
I've got pretty good before and after pics up in my Body Space (at least for those of us that started out super skinny).
But - I'm not huge by any stretch of the imagination.

I'd def be interested. Started at 120-130 lbs and have built up to the 200 lbs I am at now. Full time Computer Science student at WMU and was working a cafeteria job at the campus but now am looking at working at a local bar possibly.
You can read my transformation log at:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=4044623
I'd be highly interested, I'm entering my first show in March and being in a fitness ad is one of my ultimate goals, so anything that would need to be done could easily be arranged.
Thanks!

Heres My Story
Hi Paul!! "Would you be interested in appearing in a Bodybuilding.com magazine ad? Most definitely I am interested below is my story and some photos. Check out my bodyspace for my transformation video ?
Thanks
KatNap
WHAT GOT ME STARTED Well to be completely honest, I was FAT and TIRED all the time and I didn't like how I looked - my clothes on or OFF - LOL. Myage, in terms of my metabolism wasn't helping me any - I needed to jump start my body, my life and especially my eating habits to finally realize my goals before it was too late. Once I started, I knew that there was no going back.
As a Registered Nurse - (in a very busy Emergency Trauma Department) and at one point in my life a very unhealthy one at that - I was working very long and grueling hours and eating bad (fast) food. Back in November 2002; at the tender young age of 43... I developed chest pain at work, and found myself in the Cardiac Cath. Lab having to undergo a heart catheterization.
Needless to say everything was fine (Thank God) however, this was my wake up call for sure (or at least I thought) I of course immediately went out and purchased a tread mill that I used maybe 3 times from November to December, 2002 and I'm sad to say it was collecting dust and was an additional place to hang my (fat) clothes.
In Feb 2003 a coworker, who was in excellent shape himself, told me about the gym he goes to; that had a military style workout called boot camp.
I didn't really know what I was getting into at that point - I was so out of shape and the Boot Camp classes, that I was going to take; I heard, were intense !!! I truly did not believe that I would make it nor did I think I would truly love the sport of bodybuilding as I do now.
I was now on a mission- lose the weight (34 pounds was my goal; I was 164 pounds and 39% body fat, when I started, (May 2006), build muscle (to become lean and mean! So here begins my journey. In August 2006, I became serious and I set in motion my transformation, with a strict regimen of cardio, weight training and boot camp. I wanted to get rid of the weight the fastest way (so I thought). I also want to say, I really EXTREMELY DISLIKE cardio.
HOW I DID IT
In the beginning I ate clean 5 out of 7 days, now I eat clean 24/7. The road along the way was arduous - lots of detours, stops and starts, for sure - but I managed to stay on track despite what was going on around me. I had a goal and I wanted to stick with it, I will persevere! And most of all FOCUS is the key.
DIET
UGH! The "D" word - the hardest part of all. Tom (owner of the gym) , gave me this diet to follow and I have named it the "ANGRY DIET" because when I first started, my body was not used to the reduction in carbohydrates... it was a total shock to my system. I still don't know whether or not I was cranky because of the decrease in food consumption or the carb reduction... anyway... it worked for me.
My typical diet consists of six small meals a day and I have been on this diet since August 2006, with some changes along the way.
This has been a very long journey with ups and downs - and at times I was ready to throw in the towel "for real"! I have devoted the last 15 months of my life to this transformation. I am a continuing work in progress!!
The motivating factor for me first and foremost is Tom; who has guided me along the way and BB.com, BodySpace and its super site for the informative articles, advice and all the positive feedback I have received. Its important to note that I am still a "work in progress" as you can see on my bodyspace ? that has numerous pix and my all time favorite transformation video Part Deux ! which is a compilation of photos put together as a video from Jan 2006 to the present time. I went from COW to WOW in 4 minutes flat LOL. I want to continue to be an inspiration for all women especially my age that say that it cant be done?.Ladies you can do it!! I am living proof! Hard work determination kept me going and still does ? I have lost a total of 35 pounds and 31 % BF- I was 165 lbs and 39 % BF
Thanks for your time
KatNap

So, I didn't understand the full application process. Here's my story:
Freshman year of high school came, and I weighed 102 pounds dripping wet. I was skinny and smart, a combo that brought me a lot of grief that first year. My self-confidence was shot, and I had very few friends.
I searched for workouts online and found bodybuilding.com, which inspired me to take a weight training class my sophomore year. I knew nothing and was the smallest guy in the room the first day of class. I struggled to put up 85 pounds on the bench, and I got flak for it. I really wanted to give up, to drop such a lofty goal I had set for myself, but a few motivational articles later and I was back on track.
Over time I read more and more and learned a lot. I soon became, pound for pound, the strongest guy in my class, and have since put on over 65 pounds of muscle. My bench press max has nearly reached 300 pounds, and I look and feel great. Bodybuilding has changed my life and will continue to affect it, but without this website that transformation probably wouldn't have happened.
The pictures are old, about 20 pounds or so ago--I currently don't have a camera, but should get one very soon, so, if you guys are interested, let me know and I'll soon be able to show you some updated pictures. This sounds like a great opportunity, and I would love nothing more than to work with you guys in the future.

DANG! I just barely signed on as a trainer....I start Monday. I have a full time job as a dental assistant, and full time job as a mom, but people at the gym kept asking me to train so I gave in to them.
Good luck everyone!!!

Hmm, this opportunity sounds unreal. I don't know what to post, but I'm sure my story is the same as all these people on here. We see ourselves a certain way, and every day we want to improve. I like the base I has to work with, but in the end it?s the sculpture you make. I built what I have, and everyday it's a challenge, but it's one that I will never run from. Currently I'm a student, I take Criminology and will one day end in a career in law enforcement. I'm in the gym as much as in the school. I currently attend 30 hours a week in classes, and around 16 hours a week in the gym. It's my passion, enough said, check my bodyspace for more info!!
Thanks,
Chris

I am a diabetic. Being a diabetic (type 1), im a big time hard gainer. Since insulin is one of the most anabolic hormones in the body, lacking insulin makes gaining in the gym very difficult. When I started working out 4 years ago, my doctor told me that it was great to go to the gym but i shouldn't expect to put on too much muscle since the only insulin i have is exogenous. I was seriously only about 135 lbs then. Now, I've gone up to 185-189 lbs and at my heaviest I was about 195 lbs. My doctor is shocked at how well I have done and even asks me to speak with younger kids that have been diagnosed with diabetes about how bodybuilding has helped me. Im also in med school now (in my 5th year of a 6 year Pharm D. Doctor of Pharmacy program) and I am planning on getting ready for my fist show next summer. Using knowledge from school, knowledge from bodybuilding.com, a supplement program using products from bb.com's store that I have adapted to be more suited towards a diabetic, and ofcourse hard work, I have mad much progress. In fact, many people don't believe im a diabetic when I explain to them why diabetes makes some one such a hard gainer. I dont knock anyone for saying they are a hard gainer, but being one of the most hard gainers there can be, I know its not an excuse. In my own eyes, I have a loooong way to go because I want to get as big as I can get. I'll never be happy but that is just who I am. I dont want to just be in shape, I want to be on stage as a true bodybuilder but ofcourse I have to see how my genetics play out. I personal train in my spare time and using knowledge about the body, supplements, and everything from school, I help people in my University's gym lift and help them utilize supplements so they can get the most out of them (diabetic or not).
