Lando (Rob) thanks again for the Xtend and keep training!

What a show!!!
Hella good guys in the pro division. They all brought their "A" game.
The lights was a tough class and I def. enjoyed competing against such top notch guys!
However, now it's time to get back into the swing of things..Coming in at 130lbs was not my plan, but I guess it was not too bad...
Raf-Great seein you man! Thankx for the cheers...I needed it!
Thanx to everyone for the kind words. It def. was one of my best shows I ever competed at and I plan on coming back next year!
Hey Rich, can you give Steve a heads up that my name is misspelled on the results on the web? Appreciate it Rich and great seeing ya on Saturday.

Great job Shaun. I'll be taking some time off to heal up some nagging injuries and re-tool for next year. Skipping the universe as well next year even though it's at home and all I need to give my body a break now. It's Tough to bring that kind of conditioning twice in a year.

Hey Shaun,
The spelling is my mistake. I copied it off the finals sheets and I should have picked up on it. Sorry. You looked great, best, I have seen you. Congrats!

Rich, sorry we did not have time to chat, next time for sure.
Ms. Denmark you looked great! I loved your posing in Ms. Fit Body and I felt you had the perfect representation of a Figure body.
The Pros were just freaky looking and it was so great to see the support of all the athletes back stage.
The show really touched me this year, The WNBF/INBF gave several thousands of dollars to the Toys for Tots..kids are close to my heart and I love to seeing when they are being helped.
I did not do Worlds this year, but judging helped make up for my urge to jump on stage. Now, that I am promoting a show in DC I will have even more knowledge of all the work that goes into running a great show for the athletes.

Hi Mary
First of all...
The worlds was a REALLY REALLY GREAT SHOW!!
I am very impressed with how well things went and not at least with the POSITIVE ATTITUDE all athletes as supporters gave all day... so much fun!!
Thanks for your compliment!! This means a lot to me ... and I almost cannot wait to compete again...
Us from Denmark enjoyed ourself all day and will for sure come back!
We have a lot of pictures from the figure classes but I need to get back to Denmark before I can post them all on my website!
For now I can give you top-5 pro figure and ms. fit body...

Norah-
You looked awesome! You're presence on the stage was great.
Hey Rob- I'll try not to do dumbell curls in the O.R., but funny thing you mention that- there's a chin up bar in the OR placed by a surgeon way back in the day. Haven't used it, but maybe one day...
Hey Rich- I'm also in the new issue of Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness!

I second what you said about Norah's stage presance.....Raf and I were completely captivated. You had fantastic conditioning and well nothing steals the spotlight quite like a redhead!
Raf - Go for it!
That makes 2 of us in the new NB & F mag. I must have picked up 5 issues already (not counting the one i got in the mail yesterday). Mine isn't quite a 2 page spread but it gives me something to strive for!

That's great motivation- just make sure you show up the next day for the free photo shoot!!!
Also, think about investing in setting up a photo shoot with the photographers you've met at the shows- you invest so much time and money- it's worth just putting that extra cash. You can then post the pics on your future website!

Hi everyone, arrived back in the UK this morning after our wonderful stay in NYC. I really enjoyed the show, it was a great contest, and just about everyone in my line-up (Women's pro Heavies) had raised their game, to the extent I initially thought I'd be lucky to make top five, let alone retain my title.
To do so meant the world to me, especially in such illustrious company as Karen Miller and Katy Holmes. I've never retained a title previously, even when I was competing at local level, so as you can imagine, I am over the moon.
Rich, you have it down in the results that I took the over-all - not this year! That honour went to beautiful Brenda Rahe, and although Steve announced on the night that there was one point in it, I thought Brenda deserved to win, as she had better condition and superior legs, giving her better balance (something to work on for next year). We want to be the next Dori Frame and Nancy Andrews of our day!
Wonderful to catch up with so many friends, and to make new ones - and can't wait to be back next year.
Love Cheryl xxx

Sorry, No disrespect to Brenda. It was a long weekend with a couple of late nights. You looked great and the Dori/Nancy comparison is a fair one. Congrats on a great showing!

Thanks Rich, I know all about late nights, ha ha! I only slept one full night all the time we were in NYC, it was either nerves prior to the show, or excitement afterwards.
Thanks for your kind words; it was a very tough line-up, and I thought all the girls had raised their game this year, so to win meant a great deal. Even more, it is the first time I've ever defended a title, even when I was starting out, doing local shows, to for my first successful defence to be at this level means more than words can say.
Looking forward to coming back next year - I already have my posing track in mind!

I was at the show and was amazed that Wendell Webb did not land in top 6. I realize this is a subjective sport to some degree but he really belonged up at the top 6.

weird insight
Congrats on the show Wendell, but just something I saw from pics from Nancy's show the week before and some pics I saw of the worlds and I have seen some from a few different people. The pics from Nancy's show, I thought you looked harder, or maybe it was just the way the pics were taken. Just my 2 cents
