These are the MRI scans. The fracture may look small, but it hurts like crazy!!

There's a big difference between a fracture in the joint and one in the middle of a bone.
I fractured my tibia, and never went to the Dr, hurt like hell for 3 months. But I was 23 with no insurance. They found the healed fracture in a bone scan in my late 30's and asked why it wasn't in my med records. lol
Some gyms, esp hospital ones, have a machine that looks like an upside-down bike that you "pedal" with your hands, for cardio. Might check that out.
Keep up the good work, and keep us posted.

I haven't seen one of those at the Gold's that I go to. I am going to have some kind of rehab, so I'll ask the Doc about it. Thanks.
I will keep you guys posted and GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
I hope you reach your goals by the 23rd of December.

Down to 179. Also, Wednesday I say my Doctor for my annual physical. Previously he said that 180 was overweight for me. But after examining me he said that 180 and muscular is just fine for my height.

Slushpup, how went the surgery?
Think I'm going to have to overhaul the diet to lose some weight.

The surgery went okay. Tuesday night was the most painful. Didn't get any sleep. Found out that the Oxycodone was missing one key ingredient...Acetaminophen a.k.a Tylenol. The next day the "Mrs" called the nurse and she said to take two Tylenol along with the Oxycodone and that should help. It did.
I have to keep my knee on ice and elevated. I'll be on crutches for 6 weeks.

Is that a tattoo on your knee, or did they mark you so they'd work on the right one? I had to have a MRSI removed from my hip a couple years ago and they marked me up to be sure to operate on the right side. I told the nurse "if the Dr. can't see a 2" boil on my big white ass I don't trust him with a knife"

They marked my knee with my initials so they'd cut the right one. I tried to get it off, but it won't budge. I guess it'll have to wear off.

That machine is a UBE- upper body exerciser. I used one after shoulder surgery a few years back. If you go to a P.T. to rehab your knee, they will have one there.

Hey, everybody!
I have been slack in posting! I am stuck, all is the same except my hips -1" but, they have been up and down so, I think it is just my measuring.
I have embarked on a new diet, keto type. I probably should wait till this is over but, I am too impatient. We will see how it goes.
Hope to see some great reading here from you all. Good luck everyone and have a great weekend.

Update
Weight's doing a yo-yo thing. Trying to dial back in for the home stretch, I'm probably enjoying my cheats too much again.
Weight's up a little right now, but it's on the decline, and somehow I added an inch to my forearms. Still trying to figure that one out, it's time to measure up again.

There are some impressive strides made in here toward goals. It is a pretty amazing thing to see people so dedicated. It motivates me...off to the gym!

Well...I was just reading about "bodyhard"'s accident.
I have nothing to complain about. I will be on these crutches for just a few weeks, where others have them for a lifetime. I/we are truley blessed and some of us don't even realize it.
Sure I will put on a little weight, but I know that I WILL burn it off once I'm back in the gym.
(Hey, I guess I should put this in my blog...oh well.)
Anyway, what I'm saying, is, I'm finished with being down on myself and start being more thakful. (I lost sight for a minute, T.)
I'm not re-entering this "Biggest Loser", but you can bet your "sweet patooty" I'll be in the next one and will be kicking butt.
Good Luck, again, to all of you guys who are continuing and ...
...HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Miss T's November 23rd Update!!
Hi Over35ers!! I hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful week, and that you were surrounded with lots of love. I took full advantage of the last few days(yummy), but did not binge on any of my trigger foods(sugar, dairy, etc). However, I did enjoy generous servings of everything else. lol A girl has to be bad sometimes. Ok. lol
Surprisingly, I dropped ? inch on my waist, and one inch on my thighs. Woohoo!! My thighs are coming down slowly but surely. Too slow?but I?ll take it. I?m still on the path, and have NO PLANS of stopping until I reach my goals. We all have the ability to succeed!! Other than that, I'm in good spirits, and looking towards the future. I've had quite a few obstacles since I began training, but have refused to let them overshadow the greater picture.
Thank you EyeforDetail for the words of support, they mean a great deal, and I truly appreciate them.
Things have been a bit slow on our thread the last week or so. I'd like to say, that I originally joined the Over35contest, after ClayCat and Slushpup2 were kind enough to let me know it existed, and invited me to join. Thank you to them both. It has been a pleasure checking in, and I pray that I have encouraged others, as so many of you have encouraged me. Keep up the great work everyone!! Miss T
p.s. Also, when does the contest end? Is it December 1st? Thanks

What a wonderful attitude Keith!! There will always be setbacks, obstacles, and worse. Always! But you have it inside of you to move forward, and choose to overcome them all. Good for you!! I'm rooting for you. T
