No gains!

alright, heres the deal....I have been working out intensly for the past year. Prior to working out I weighed in at about 154 lbs. I made significant gains at first but then everything sorta died down. I was 165 during summer season and suddenly since i started college i have dropped down to 155 lbs. Wtf is going on?! I am eating enough I can assure you but there is still a missing piece in this puzzle. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to gain mass, especially as a college student.

Alcohol eats away muscle.

You need more calories than you think.

Start counting.
Eat 7 meals, increase every 2 weeks by 200 calories split evenly by macroratios.

Lay off the cardio.

Eat big, lift big, you will get big.

Oh yeah, don't forget to get at least 8 hours of sleep.

Thanks for your advice man. Yeah i have tried eating 7 meals a day, and i dont drink because i am devoted 100% to getting bigger. The problem is lack of sleep i think...i guess freshmen 15 works in both ways lol. Do you think i could be overtraining?

Overtraining is a possibility... what program are you using? I would make sure to keep your workouts to < 1 hour and like the previous posters said... don't do a lot of extra cardio.

If you have a meal plan there at school you should have no problem eating enough. I used to take in a plastic bag to the commons and take extra food back to the dorm for snacks.

If you are not putting on weight you are not eating enough. No matter what you may think.
