Never stretch before you workout! Just speed walk for about 7 min. for a warm up. If you study stretching it was never proven to eliminate injury prior to workout. It has actually been proven to stretch your muscle so when you lift you are not able to reach a full muscle contraction. Your muscles are more likely to reach full contraction on a non stretched muscle. Stretch only after a workout to help relieve your muscles of toxins.
