What Is The Best Protein Powder?!
I've only used Optimum Nutrition's and AST's.
What is the best overall Protein powder? Best Protein for the price? Best tasting?

Optimum 100% Pure Whey
I've heard that this is purely awesome for the price and its pure composition.

For cost and quality for a pure protein powder, I'd say EAS Simply Whey or Optimum

For best overall protein powder, I like creating my own at protein factory with my own custom ingedients. My latest batch in the following combination;
Bovine serum______5%
WPC____________10%
Hydrolyzed 520____15%
Whey Isolate______30%
Micellar casien_____40%
For brand name protein I just pick up a tub from a trusted company such as Scitech or Prolab (gainers). Scitech's, Scipro is a nice blend of isolate and WPC.

hmm
I use NLarge2
But i don't think it is the best anymore... it is more of a weight gainer than a protien powder...
My latest 10 lbs bucket tastes like ****... the vanilla use to be pretty good, now it tastes like batter...
WHAT HAPPENED?

How does it taste? I put too much Micellar Casein / Hydro 520 in my formula. It tastes like ****, even with dextrose and malto in it!! I have about 2.5 lbs left, and I have to plug my nose everytime I down it!! Even after drinking, its not over. My burps even taste ****ty, up to 5 min after!! Now I gag at even thinking of my formula...
At least it gets digested way better than anything I've used.
btw - Don't EVER put flax powder in your formulas!! It never dissolves and just ends up as brown chunks at the bottom of your cup!!
Know I'm being repetative from the old board, but just wanted to pass the word

Im not 100% agree with D&G,I mean i know what you are talking about, milk powder is a good protein of course but not the best and you know it.Its the cheaper and so is the best for this price not for the quality.

I could get many hundreds of grams of protein from skimmed milk powder than I could from 30g of any one of those at the same cost, I do use protein powder (only post workout and in the morning) but mostly I rely on the skim milk powder. For value it is number 1.

anyone tried this?
Has anyone tried the Eclipse 2000 deLuxe Whey Protein? I am currently using it and it has a relatively high percentage of protein per serving and looking at the label, it seems like the ingredients are fine too. But the taste is not that good, so i have to mix it with skim milk to make it more tolerable.

powder
The best powders are the isolates and the hydrogenated powders offered at **************.com. Also the most bang for the buck.

I think the best protein powder is Muscle Gauge Nutrition shakes. They taste the best; have no carbs, no fat, and a lot of protein. They also taste great and its unbelievable for the price. There is free shipping also for it on eBay and Amazon.. You?ll see results fast with this one.

If you want Chocolate, Mocha, or Chocolate Mint Xtreme Formulations takes the cake. I've heard their UP 2.0 also has some awesome flavors but has a higher price. 10lbs for $56 is unbeatable really.
