Week 1, Day 3
Gym:
Today was shoulders/ bi's. It went a little sumthin like this:
Incline DB Press:
20lbs x 10
25lbs x 9
30lbs x 8 x 2
Military DB press:
15lbs x 12
20 lbs x 10
25 lbs x 10 x 2
Side Lateral DB raise
12.5lbs x 12
15lbs x 10
20lbs x 9
Upright Cable Row
50 lbs x 10
60lbs x 8 x 3
Standing Barbell Curl
40 lbs x 8 x 4
Preacher machine
50 lbs x 8 x 4
45 spin
I feel like ass. My sinuses are turning into a chest cold. I really want to find a eucalyptus steam room to sit in for like a whole day or so. Diet has been spot on with the addititon of Dayquil & Nyquil.
Today I am meeting my mom with the boys and we are going to a big old pumpkin patch. My big guy LOVES cats right now, so he picked out mathing black tee-shirts for him and his bro to wear with a silver foil "scary cat" on it for pics. It should be really fun... I just wish i felt better...

Not even a little bit. The only thing that's lovin on me is my nyquil and pillow. I have a rule, if my nose holes are stuffy, there's no reason to stuff up any other holes.....ha

Hi all...
Today I will give myself a C+ for diet and here's why: I forgot to pack my food to take with on the trip to the pumpkin patch. The only food choices there were grease burgers or hot dogs, so I opted for the hotdog (no bun). Then I stopped at El Pollo Loco for a Taco al Carbon with chicken breast. I only ate 1 of the tortillas. I got right back on track at home with the chicken/brown rice/green bean mix, and then opted for take-out tonight. I had a grilled fish taco with guacamole (only 1 small corn tortilla) and a grilled shrimp enchilada. Tomorrow is a spin only day, so i will do 60-75 min depending on how I feel. My sinuses have drained, but went to my chest and I get brochial real quick, so we will see in the a.m. I'm still pleased with my food choices and that I decided to eat rather than starve, (which is what i tend to do), especially since this is my "bulking phase". Its now time to get the nyquil crack-alack-alackin, so nighty night y'all.

Today I feel Noel needs to rest not do 60-75 min spin. I think that is the plan but it is only 9:30, she may change her mind. She woke up this morning so I could train then is back down for a nap. We will see how she feels when she wakes up.
ONe note to make - A trainer at the gym asked her why no rear delt exercise on shoulder days. The reason I did not put rear delt in is because Noel has a very sensetive scalular impingement. Any motion like rear delts at heavy weight will ligh thtat baby on fire then she is done a for a few weeks....just and FYI if anyone else was questioning.

I am going to have Noel continue this routine for another 2 weeks ten we are going to do a "recovery" week, then get into some circuit type work. She has a body that adapts VERY quickly so the changes need to be made quite frequently.

I am not an addictive person but I am Addicted to this apple Xtend. 2 scoops in 24 oz water bottle 3-4 times per day. Man it makes the water so easy to drink.

Since my wife is in such great shape and trying to increase as much LBM as she can over the next 12-13 weeks, I am in a maintenance right now. Just trying to stay as lean as I can. My focus is really on her right now.

Well as soon as I wrote the post, she came down stairs and asked if we could switch so she could train early and I go later. I of course said yes. So the sicko went in and cranked out 2 hrs training and spin....what a nut.

Noel is a crazy one!! Even sick and sounding like she's going to cough up a lung any minute she's in the gym spinning away. And no Noel, I'm not going to spin with you, so you can give that idea up!! I think Chuck and Noel have started to see signs of my neurotic side when it comes to my weight. Don't worry...this is nothing compared to when I actually start dieting down. No worries though Chuck...I'm still on the program...you just might have to talk me off the ledge every now and then!!! Anyways, you're looking great Noel. Keep up the good work!

I dont call her the mad Cuban for nothing. She loves to look good and fgeel good. But I will say you are stressing WAY TOO much on this LBG phase man. CHIIL OUT, you still got 5 abs sticking out and put on 10+ lbs on the scale, stop stressing.
